CWC Presents
WHIPLASH
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008
Taco Bell Arena
Boise, ID
[In the bottom right hand corner of
the screen, it reads "Whiplash: Last Week". We fade into a black and white shot of Kenji Gosenkugi pounding away on Road Block.]
Beav: They’re eating this up! Kenji is on fire!
Mouth: Not for long!
[Kenji is clearly intent on demolishing Road Block as he sends Road Block into the corner and follows him in for a splash. He manages to connect with the splash, and goes up for some mounted punches, as Road Block brings his knee up into Kenji’s groin in sheer desperation. Kenji staggers back, and as Road Block comes up from the corner, almost takes his head off with a standing side kick. Road Block goes down hard, and Kenji grabs a handful of his hair, kicking him in the face.]
Mouth: Oh no! He’s going for the finish!
Beav: Road Block's DEAD! HE'S DEAD!
[Kenji scoops Road Block up, and levels him with the Gakkarida, but instead of making the cover, drags the nearly unconscious man to his feet, only to take him down with a second patented backdrop driver that shakes the ropes. The ref’s hand hits the mat for the three count following the devastating finish, leaving Road Block out like a light.]
Beav: The message has been received, loud and clear, folks. Kenji Gosenkuji is here, and he won't be denied.
[The black and white scene fades out with a shot of Kenji glaring down at Road Block, who's not moving in the middle of the ring.]
[The scene then fades into a live shot in the backstage area and Exile is in the locker room digging through his gym bag as the camera crew rush in.]
Exile: Good good, you guys made it. How’s your night goin so far?
Cameraman1: Uh..good?
Exile: Great, well we are going to be getting a little bit of, well I don’t wanna call it revenge persay, so lets just call it…oh hell with it, its revenge.
Cameraman2: We aren’t gonna be pissin Mister Kenji off are we?
Exile: Oh…I dunno.
[Exile pulls out a replica PWX World Championship belt with Kenji Gosenkugi’s name etched on the plate.]
Cameraman1: Oh lord.
Exile: It’s amazing the shit you can find on ebay. Espacially from PWX, Pariah fucking sold EVERYTHING. He shilled out enough of these replica belts to have put him in debt in the first place, but lets face it if that guy knew anything about personal responsibility then we probably wouldn’t be here.
Cameraman1: So uh…what are you gonna do with that belt?
Exile: Well, I dunno about you guys, but I had WAAAY too much of TaNK’s patented brand Chili.
Cameraman2: This is going to end badly…
[Exile slings the fake title over his shoulder and walks out of the locker room down the hall to the men’s room. He holds up a finger to the cameramen and disappears behind the door.]
Cameraman1: Kenji is going to kill this guy.
Cameraman2: Oooooh yeah.
[Exile cracks the door open with a big grin.]
Exile: WHEW! DO NOT GO IN THERE! How’s this for toilet humor hunh? HA
Cameraman2: Please tell us we can go now…
Exile: GO? So soon? Why we haven’t even gotten to the pay off yet!! The man put my best friend in the hospital. OF COURSE, you know that this means WAR.
--Start the Show--
[We fade in to the inside of the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho, where pyrotechnics are going off, and the crowd is on its feet going crazy. The camera pans around to show fans holding up signs such as "AIM AT ME TANK!", "WE WANT ROBO TEDDY" and "R.I.P. ROAD BLOCK!" It then cuts down to ringside, where Hal Cleaver and Mikey Munson are sitting at the commentator's table with headsets on, ready to start the show.]
Beav: Welcome wrestling fans to another edition of Championship Wrestling Council's "Whiplash!" We have a heckuva line up for you tonight, including the CWC debut of the man we just saw backstage, Exile!
Mouth: It's a damn good thing he stepped in for Road Block tonight! After the beating that idiot took last week, I don't think he'd have survived through the night in a match with someone like Blake Stone!
Beav: He was definitely left in pretty bad shape at the hands of Kenji just one week ago...but that's not all we have on tap! Kirsta Lewis is going to be in the ring tonight against newcomer Ally Braddock who's looking to pick up her first win after a tough loss in her debut next week!
Mouth: HA! Things just went from bad to worse for Ally! She lost last week, and now she's got to step into the ring with The Hell Cat! She's done for!
Beav: We've also got a triple threat match, and a huge tag team main event that's featuring Ryu Nakajima and Kenji Gosenkugi facing off against Jackson and the newcomer James Lee! You've got to wonder how those two teams will work together!
Mouth: I hope they don't! I'm in the mood for a good ol' fashioned four way brawl tonight!
Beav: Well it's definitely got the possibility of seeing some bloodshed, that's for sure!
Mouth: ...Whoa there, fat boy...I didn't say anything about blood!
Beav: I'll keep the waste basket handy...
Mouth: Whatever...
Beav: We're just one month away from "The Ascension," fans...the road to the CWC Championship, and perhaps the biggest professional wrestling event so far this year, officially kicks into high gear tonight! Whiplash is on the air!
--Match - Exile vs. Blake Stone--
Cassandra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 190 pounds, and wrestling out of Los Angeles, California… he is The King of Wonder Bread Palace… EXILEEEEE!!
[The crowd pops]
Beav: Well Road Block managed to weasel his way out of this explosive matchup tonight, didn't he?
Mouth: Yeah, but what I'm wondering… what we're ALL wondering, is just who this Exile character is, and why Baxman let him into this match.
Beav: He's a former World Champion, and one of the brightest stars in this business!
Mouth: Exile and Stone – in the ring – ONE ON ONE!
"Welcome to the Good Life!"
[The crowd pops as the videotron springs to life as an animated Exile appears on the screen smiling and dancing to the music.]
"Like we always do with this time, I go for mine, I got to shine. Now throw your hands up in the sky!"
[Exile makes his way to the ramp way dancing to the beat and grinning from ear to ear as the crowd cheers on. Exile stops on his way to the ring and points back up entrance as the pryos shoot off into the air. Exile high fives several of the fans, especially the younger audience before sliding into the ring and climbing the turnbuckle, flash bulbs going off as a shower of yellow pyro falls to the ring.]
Mouth: Look at that! Exile's out here in a suit!!
Beav: Maybe Stone’s in for more of a fight than he’s expecting… or not.
[Exile shrugs out of the suit jacket, revealing a black dress shirt. Carefully, he folds up the jacket, and lays it over the turnbuckle.]
Beav: Exile’s in the ring now, and man…get him out of a suit, and you see that this guy must hit the gym every now and then!
Mouth: What are you talking about? That guy makes Patrick Pines look ripped!
[“Coming Undone” by Korn begins to play. Blake Stone steps out from the back and looks around the arena to the mixed reaction from the fans. He lifts his arms overhead and the drops to this side and seemingly bows his head to say a quick prayer before he starts down the aisle. He briefly slaps hands with a couple of fans before focusing himself on the ring.]
Cassandra: And his opponent…weighing in at 213 pounds, and wrestling out of Anniston, Alabama… BLAKE STONEEEE!!
[The crowd gets heated at his announcement, and Stone heads down the aisle towards the ring, locking his glare in on Exile. Rolling in under the bottom rope, he pops up to his feet and jumps up and down a few times to loosen up. His music fades out, and each man paces back and forth on opposite sides of the ring.]
Mouth: They haven't forgiven Stone for losing his cool against fan favorite Georgie Nickles a few weeks ago.
Beav: Neither have I. That was uncalled for.
[The ring of the bell halts the silent staring contest and Exile explodes into action, charging at Stone. Exile with a left. Make it two, driving Stone back against the ropes. Side headlock and Exile’s got the momentary advantage. Stone retaliates with shots to the midsection but Exile takes him over nicely with a side suplex. Stone is quick to his feet; firing back with more punches before slinging Exile into the ropes and follows him in catching him with a knee to the midsection. Exile goes down hard, and Stone follows up with a stunning football kick that nearly takes Exile’s head off.]
Mouth: Oh! That had to hurt! Pow, right in the kisser!
Beav: Exile’s up, shaking it off, looking for an opening.
[Stone scoops up Exile, only to level him again with a stunning butterfly suplex. He scoopes the rookie up again, only to send him packing to the ropes. This time Stone charges in, looking for a crossbody block, but Exile catches him midair, spinning him around and plastering him to the canvas with a front flip powerbomb. Both men pop back up and Exile locks his hands around Stone’s waist, and flips him clear across the ring with a snap variation of a waistlock suplex. Stone springs to his feet, as the crowd gives him a mixed response. Exile simply waits, and Stone doesn’t disappoint, immediately charging with a clothesline attempt that connects with nothing but air as Exile sidesteps before leveling Stone again, this time with a stiff superkick to the chest. Again, Exile backs off, letting Stone make his way to his feet, watching with amusement as shakes his head, clearing away the cobwebs.]
Beav: Stone’s getting owned by the man in the suit! I can't believe my eyes!
[Stone looks stunned, but the follow up sucker punch to the face moves him over the line to woozy. Stone totters on his feet, trying to shake off the impact as the crowd begins to chant his name. Exile backs up to the ropes, and sends Stone to the canvas with a running clothesline.]
Beav: Stone’s not looking good out there. Not one bit!
Mouth: I call that a nice greeting to get as you stand up. KA-POW!
Beav: I can’t believe this! Exile is completely dominating Stone!
[Exile scoops Stone back up, but the big man isn’t staying in his grip. He squirms away, and began to mount his assault, firing on all cylinders as he drives Exile back against the ropes with a series of alternating punches and chops. Exile ducks and weaves with the best of them, but somehow Stone is still there, managing to stand amid the retaliation. Finally, Stone locks his hands around Exile’s waist and tosses him to the middle of the ring like a sack of dirty laundry with a hard Beel throw. He scrambles to the top rope, and waits for Exile to rise, which he does rather quickly. Stone springs, looking for a move that never quite happens as Exile straightens up. Instead of hitting him, Stone goes right over him, landing solidly behind Exile.]
Mouth: That was amazing!
Beav: For once, I have to agree. Stone is certainly no cruiserweight, but he can sure fly.
Mouth: Exile’s looking for trouble now, getting right up in Blake Stone’s face.
[Exile whips Stone to the ropes and follows him up with a high leg lariat sending both men tumbling down over the top rope and onto the floor below. The crowd begins to roar as both men make their way to their feet and begin trading fists. Stone gets the upper hand as he backs Exile up to the guardrail with a series of right hands followed by a big clothesline, sending Exile backward over the railing and into the crowd. Stone wastes no time in following him over as the action spills into the audience.]
Beav: Stone with the big haymaker there. Exile’s seeing stars, and the fans in the floor seats are going nuts.
[Stone lifts Exile to his feet and rocks him with a hard right, sending him stumbling backward and into the barrier again. Stone takes a few steps back and delivers a standing dropkick to Exile sending him reeling backward to the floor. The crowd is in shock now as Stone hops over the barrier. Stone grabs Exile by the back of his head and tries to toss him face first into the unforgiving steel, but Exile gets an elbow into Stone’s ribs and another, backing him up and allowing Exile the wiggle room he needs to slip the hold. He dashes back into the ring, sliding under the ropes and rolling to his feet.]
Mouth: Stone looks pissed!
[Stone slides between the ropes, and charges at Exile, connecting with a solid uppercut that snaps Exile's head back before taking him down with a jawbreaker. Stone scales the ropes again, and comes off the top rope, slamming Exile's face into the canvas with an elbow drop to the back of the head. Stone lays those educated boots to Exile as he crawls to the ropes. Exile pulls his body up, teeth gritted and still getting kicked the entire time. Stone grabs hold of him, and gets an elbow to the face that finally shifts the momentum. Exile grabs hold of his arm and send him across the ring into the ropes with an Irish whip. Stone comes off, still shaking off the impact of the elbow to his nose as he barrels towards Exile, only to be leveled as Exile slams into him in the air with a flying forearm!]
Beav: Stunning forearm smash by the new guy!
Mouth: Psssh, that movie sucked.
[The crowd goes nuts as Stone knees Exile in the gut and tosses him at the ropes again. Stone goes for a dropkick to the knee but misses. Instead Exile takes him down with a vicious punch to the face that leaves Stone seeing stars. Smiling, rolling his shoulders and circling, Exile crouches, waiting for Stone to regain his footing. As soon as he makes it to his feet, Exile charges with a spear, but Stone manages to save himself by diving aside. Instead, Exile connects solidly with the referee, driving him back hard into the steel ringpost. The ref hits the canvas like a ton of bricks. Exile pops back to his feet, much to the disapproval of the crowd. Picking up his arm, Exile drops his shin across the back of Stone’s neck. He has the arm locked up, and pulls back for a cruel version of an armbar.]
Beav: Punishment! That’s an impressive hold! He driving his face into the mat, wrenching the back and trying to break his arm.
Mouth: I’m betting Stone’s regretting getting out of bed this morning
[Stone tries to reach up with his free hand. He is looking for a handhold to throw Exile off, but Exile has perfect positioning. Stone grunts in pain as he continues trying to slip out of the hold. His hand closes over the bottom rope, and Exile releases the hold, popping back to his feet. He sends Stone packing back into the ropes, and nails a perfect tilt-a-whirl powerbomb.]
Beav: LARGER THAN LIFE!
Mouth: Wow!
[Exile backs off, and Stone gets to his feet, looking winded. He charges at Exile, and connects with a cheap kick to the gut that doubles him over. Backpedaling, he springs off the ropes, and nails a running knee to the skull that halts Exile's momentum in its tracks.]
Beav: Stunning reversal… and Stone with the cover.
ONE…
TWO….
[…and Exile kicks up with authority, squirming out from under Stone. Stone looks enraged as he staggers up. Exile steps right up in his face, and then absolutely levels Stone with the Outcast. He floats over and hooks the leg.]
ONE…
TWO…
THREE.
[Stone gets the shoulder up, two seconds too late as "Good Life" blasts over the arena sound system again.]
Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen… your winner… EXILE!!!
Mouth: I take that back, he's good.
Beav: Told you so.
[WINNERS VIA PINFALL: EXILE]
--Civil Rivalry?--
[We see Ryu Nakajima in his ring gear standing in the backstage area of the Taco Bell Arena, leaning against a wall and surveying the area from behind his shades. After spotting something, he makes a small scribble in his black notebook, before folding it up and slipping it into his coat pocket. A shadow looms off camera, over to his left. Nakajima turns slowly to check the source.]
Nakajima: Oh, good evening!
[The camera pans slowly around to show Bradley Jackson, also kitted out in his ring gear, with a neutral expression on his face behind the cloud of smoke issuing from the cigarette clamped between his lips.]
Jackson: You and your little book. Shouldn’t you be psyching yourself up or something?
[Nakajima gives Jackson a smile.]
Nakajima: I had a few things to sort out first. Don’t worry, I’m all ready to go, I was just about to go and find Kenji in fact.
Jackson: Bit late to talk strategy, isn’t it? If you’re pressed for time, I can always go easy on you.
[Sarcasm oozed from Jackson's voice, accompanying the derisive smirk on his lips as he ground out the cigarette beneath his boot.]
Nakajima: If you’re trying to intimidate me, Sir, you’re wasting your time. Anyway, I'm all finished here.
Jackson: Intimidate you? Why would I want to do that?
Nakajima: You’re the expert on the subject, you tell me.
[Jackson gives Nakajima an icy stare, but it soon melts into a short laugh.]
Jackson: Heh, it’s all good. I was just passing through; I thought blanking you would be rude. I've got manners, you know.
Nakajima: A virtue indeed. I suppose just because we’re both gunning for each other, there’s no reason we can’t be civil outside the ring, is there?
Jackson: Whatever floats your boat, kid.
Nakajima: Exactly. Let’s hope for another good match, right? I’m looking forward to it. See you in there.
[Nakajima extends a hand, and Jackson looks in two minds whether to accept the handshake or not. Before he has the chance to decide, someone places a hand on Jackson’s shoulder, and turns him around the other way. The camera zooms out and we see it’s Noah Drakin.]
Drakin: Hassling your opponent before a match? That’s low even for you.
[Jackson looks at Drakin with a confused expression.]
Jackson: I’m sorry, have we met? Do you work here or something?
Drakin: Don’t get smart with me, old man. You hassle him, you hassle me. Got it?
[Jackson can’t help but laugh.]
Jackson: Is that right? Well, you touch me again, and I’ll break your arm. Got THAT?
[Drakin gets right in Jackson’s face. Jackson is smiling at him, clearly not taking him seriously. Nakajima attempts to diffuse the situation by pulling Drakin away and standing in between them.]
Nakajima: OK, that’s plenty enough testosterone for one evening. I’m sorry about my friend, Mr. Jackson, he’s had a rough week.
[Jackson merely shrugs.]
Jackson: Whatever.
Nakajima: We were just leaving anyway. Good luck tonight! I’ll see you down there!
[Nakajima pulls Drakin along with him down the corridor with one arm, giving Jackson a thumbs up with the other, while Jackson stands and shakes his head in amusement.]
--Match - Nick Maggio vs. Matthew Murphyr--
Cassandra: The following is scheduled for one fall. First, Nick Maggio!
["What you got" by Reveile begins to play on the CWC audio system, the crowd erupts into cheers as Nick Maggio walks through the tunnel. The "Tap or Die" chants begin, Nick walks down the ramp like a bad ass. Once he reaches the end of the ramp he turns to the crowd and gives a pre-match yell at the top of his lungs. He slides into the ring and waits for his opponent to arrive.]
Beav: Maggio is looking for a win here tonight.
Mouth: well, doesn't everyone here look for a win?
Beav: True..
Cassandra: And his opponent, Matthew Murphy!
[As the lyrics to "The Howling" by Within Temptation actually begin their is a blast of pyro and Matthew makes his way to the ring. He is dressed in a long pair of tights wearing a long black leather jacket that is undone. He runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. He stands up smiling and looks around the crowd. They are booing as he takes off his jacket and snickers at the hate being directed to him.]
Beav: Well to be honest, both need the win here tonight. Their momentum is quite low, to say the least.
Mouth: Yeah, their both losers.
Beav: Don't say that!
[The bell rings, and Maggio immediately responds by going for a clothesline. Murphy ducks and responds with a arm drag, followed by an armbar. Maggio scrambles, getting away from the arm bar and gets himself off from the ground as the two stare at each other intently. After a few seconds, the two lock up, with Maggio powering out Murphy by pushing him to the ground. Maggio smirks as he grabs Murphy by the hair and strikes him down with a knee to the face.]
Mouth: Ouch, that's a relatively painful maneuver there by Maggio.
Beav: He's from the MMA, whaddya expect?
[Maggio picks Murphy up and whips him across the ropes, but Murphy ducks, hits the ropes again, and goes for a crossbody. He covers, but only gets a two count. Murphy picks him up, only for Maggio to be dropped down again with a fierce dropkick. Murphy then runs to the ropes, leaps on the middle rope, and lands with the lionsault. He covers..but still, only two.]
Beav: A flurry of offense here by Murphy!
Mouth: He's on fire! Figuratively!
[Murphy signals for Maggio to get up as the fans start to rally for Murphy. As Maggio gets up. Murphy runs to the nearest ring post and goes for a whisper in the wind, but Maggio grabs him by the throat, countering the move, and attempts to hit a chokeslam. Murphy blocks out of it, kicks him in the gut, and drills his face down on the mat with an inverted DDT. Grabbing Maggio by the head, he locks in the Lights Out. It only takes a few seconds for Maggio to tap as Murphy secures his victory.]
Cassandra: Here is your winner, Matthew Murphy!
[Murphy rolls out of the ring, arms extended in victory.]
Beav: Well, Maggio got a few punches in, but with his flurry of offense, Murphy managed to get the win here tonight.
Mouth: Yeah, now if he does that for every match he's in, maybe his win record will go to two!
Beav: Oh will you stop!
[WINNER VIA SUBMISSION: MATTHEW MURPHY]
--Won't Let You Down!--
[James Lee sits on the hard wooden bench, feeling sick to the toes of his wrestling boots. Covered in fearful sweat, he's pale as a ghost. When the door impacts with the wall hard enough to leave a dent in the plaster, he nearly jumps out of his skin but keeps right on looking down at the floor.]
Jackson: You James Lee?
[The voice is familiar; Lee had heard it on the phone just a few nights ago, that hoarse rasp borne of too much yelling, and too many cigarettes. He turns around, gulping nervously as he shot to his feet, spying Jackson making his way over from the doorway.]
James Lee: Brad… Jackson! You're in my locker room!
[Jackson looks around, bemused, chuckling to himself.]
Jackson: Well, technically, I'm in the Taco Bell Arena's locker room, but yeah… if you want to take ownership, have at 'er, kid.
James Lee: Wow. This is… sir, I'm your biggest-
Jackson: Save it kid.
[He reaches into his back pocket, pulling out a roll of black tape. This he tosses back and forth from one hand to the other while watching the rookie he's been saddled with. He wasn't meaning to intimidate, but the sheer intensity oozing from every pore was enough to make Lee's eyes widen in fear.]
Jackson: Ok, here's the rules, kid. One: save this hero worship shit for someone who cares. Two: If you fuck up in that ring, your ass is mine. Not tonight, but for the next month. You become my bitch… you reading me, hoss?
[Lee flinches as Jackson's hand flashes through the air, snatching the tape and slamming it down on the bench beside him.]
Lee: I…
Jackson: You taking this shit seriously, kid? Or is this some sort of joke to you? Do I look like I'm laughing? I'm not, so wipe that star-struck smile off your face, hoss and listen up. You hearin' me, kid? Listen James, you and I, we’re not friends, nor are we partners. I've already got myself a tag partner that I trust implicitly. I don’t trust you because I don't have to. I don’t like you because I don't want to. Stay the hell out of my way out there, and maybe, just maybe, you won’t get hurt.
Lee: Mr. Jackson, I won't…
[The kid swallows hard, looking down at the roll of tape on the bench that was still quivering from the impact.]
Lee: I won't let you down.
[Jackson nods to himself, turning to leave the room. Lee opens his mouth again; as though he wants to call after his hero, but Jackson is already walking away, stalking down the corridor like a restless panther in a cage, like a storm about to break. He grumbles to himself as he turns the corner, leaving his tag team partner behind, his indigo eyes glittering with barely concealed fury.]
Jackson: Fucking bullshit. Ryu gets Ken… and I get stuck with fucking Chun Li. Goddamn joke… random tag match hell… I’ll show you hell, Baxman. Hell is pissing off the devil himself. I don’t play well with others; it would do you all good to learn that lesson.
--Match - Kirsta Lewis vs. Ally Braddock--
Beav: And now for one of Fhe first times in CWC history, we have a woman on woman match.
Mouth: And don’t take that as something negative, both Krista Lewis and Ally Braddock wrestle men just like anyone else on the roster, and they’ve had their good portion of success in the ring too.
Beav: But only one can call themselves the most dominant women in the CWC, and this match is designed to prove just that.
Randall: The following match is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from St. Lauerdale, Florida, weighing in at 130 pounds, she is Krista Lewis!
The arena lights go down as "Animal" by Nickleback pipes though the arena's PA system. There is a loud thundering roar as a huge Harley appears at the entrance. It stops as its engine roars even louder. Kirsta Lewis appears dressed all in black leather and a motorcycle helmet, covering her head. As the music stops, the engine roars and she rides the bike down to the ringside area. Circling the ring three times before it stops and is turned off. Kirsta slides off the bike and pushes the kick stand down. Looking around the arena and walking over to the ring steps, mounting them slowly sliding though the ring ropes and standing there
Beav: Don’t let that little frame fool you, she’s a mean one that Krista Lewis.
Randall: And her opponent, hailing from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 135 pounds, she is Ally Braddock!
You know how to whistle don't you? Just put your lips together...and blow."
["A Million Ways" by OK Go starts to play as the female fans start to cheer for Ally Braddock standing in the rampway. Ally gives a brief pose with her hand on her hip and a grin on her face as the green pryo shoots off behind her in sucession.
She makes her way down to the ring pumping her fist in the air and high fiving the women in the crowd on the way down before sliding into the ring and climbing the turnbuckle and raising her hands in the air.]
Mouth: You can tell these two women only have one thing on their minds tonight-victory.
Ding, Ding Ding.
Beav: And here we go, Ally Braddock vs Krista Lewis. I can hardly wait for this one.
Mouth: Keep your pants on Hal, for everyone’s sake.
Ally and Lewis move around the ring, waiting and watching for the other to make a move. Krista is the first to strike, attempting to grab Ally by the legs. But Ally dances out of the way, and Krista grabs nothing but air. Krista gets back to her feat, and they again circle the ring. Its Ally’s turn as she attempts to kick Krista in the head, but Krista catches her leg and pushes her back, taking her to the ground, but Ally rolls up and is in a defensive position, and Krista backs off, smiling.
Beav: This is these two styles at their best. Ally has to use her highflying abilities to compete Krista’s brute strength.
Mouth: And Krista certainly is one hell cat. While she might not be the biggest person in the ring, you can bet she is probably one of the meanest.
This time, both Ally and Krista go for the lock up, and Krista gets an over head chop to the chest of Ally. Ally backs up, and as Krista attempts to send another shot down to Ally, she catches her hand coming down in bid air, and then sends a kick to the gut of Krista, and then spins around to Krista’s back. As Krista turns around to face Ally, she hits her with a jaw breaker, and then bounces up and steps back into the ropes. As Krista comes closer to Ally, who is on the ground, Ally grabs a hold of Krista and takes her into the middle of the ring with a monkey toss.
Mouth: There’s no monkey business in the CWC
Beav: What?
Krista attempts to make her way back up but Ally is right there, taking her down again with a running bull dog. But Ally keeps a hold of Krista neck, pulling on her while she’s in a seated position and Krista’s face first on the ground. It looks like Krista’s trying to pull herself and Ally to a standing position. But Ally stands her ground, and wont budge. Krista is forced to reach around, and send a hard shot to the gut of Ally, followed by another and another. Eventually Ally must let go and Krista is on her feet faster the Ally is as Krista grabs Ally by the hair, and lifts her up with a hip toss. Ally finds her way up and is met with another hip toss, and finally is kicked in the gut and taken down with a hard DDT.
Beav: I admire Ally trying to go toe to toe with Krista, but she’s got to use her speed in order to take Krista out.
Mouth: There’s nothing wrong with changing up your style a little bit. It can take your opponent off their game plan and open up for you to do a lot of damage. Ally just wasn’t lucky on that one.
Krista pulls Ally up and whips her into the ropes. Ally comes back as Krista is doubled over, looking for the back body drop. But Ally slides under Krista, and sends a hard shot up to her face causing Krista to shoot up. Ally is up on her feet and tries to kick Krista in the gut, but Krista grabs a hold of her leg, and Ally jumps up, twisting in the air and hits Krista with a mule kick to the chest. Krista hits the ground and rolls up, running towards Ally only to get a drop toe hold into the ropes. Ally gets up, and bounces off the opposite ropes, running towards Krista and hitting her with a 619, driving her feet into the face of Krista, causing her to get out of the ropes as she climbs the top rope, diving off and getting on top of Krista and hitting her with a Hurricanranna.
Beav: And this is the style that we all know Ally Braddock for and the style that has won her several matches up until this point.
Krista starts to make her way up, and Ally bounces off the ropes, looking for a shoulder block. But Krista has other ideas as she moves out of the way, and pushes Ally face first into the canvas. Ally makes her way up, but Krista is right there to hit her with a knife edge chop, and then captures her with a release northern lights suplex. Ally hits the ground hard as Krista is up and wastes no time getting Ally into a Boston crab. Ally tries to fight out of it, moving closer to the ropes. But Krista starts to move away, and it’s all up to Ally now as she dives forward, and gets the rope. Krista immediately breaks the hold and gives Ally a hard kick to her back. Krista picks her up, and has a grapple from the back. But Ally sends a hard elbow back to Krista who shakes it off and tries to lift Ally up. But Ally grabs Krista from the back of the neck, and flips her up and over her. Krista is on her knees as Ally drop kicks her out of the ring.
Beav: Look at that, Ally has just taken Krista out of the ring.
Mouth: Yea but she got a bunch of damage done to her with that Boston crab, you have to believe that she’s hurting right now.
Ally bounces off the ropes, looking to give Krista a baseball slide as Krista starts to get up. But Krista grabs her leg and pulls her out of the ring, taking her down with a step over clothesline. Ally is trying to get up as Krista has her in a double under hook position. But Ally tries to knee Krista in the gut, and Krista grabs her leg and picks her up high with a Fisherman’s Suplex to the outside.
Mouth: Oh my God, Krista just took out Ally with that huge Fisherman’s suplex right on the outside, she’s got to be down and out after that one.
Krista grabs a hold of Ally and rolls her back in the ring and the 10 count restarts. But Krista doesn’t head directly back in the ring. Instead Krista starts to climb up the turnbuckle looking at Ally who still on the ground.
Beav: What on Gods green earth is she doing?
Krista looks up, and then stands tall, jumping off the turnbuckle looking for the Cat Splash. But Ally moves out of the way, and Krista hits the ground hard.
Mouth: Krista has just falling face first about fifteen feet of the ground.
Beav: Oh man, that will really screw up your internal organs.
Mouth: Don’t forget your face.
Krista turns over only to show blood coming out of her noise. Ally is on her hands and knee’s, attempting with little avail to make her way up. Both Krista and Ally lay in the ring, exhausted and both looking hurt. Krista starts to move, as does Ally as they both make their way to their feet. Krista is turned around, and Ally gets in position. Just as Krista spins around, Ally puts all she’s got into a kick in the sternum, looking for the Beautiful Truth. But Krista catches it, spins her around and is looking to get her in dragon sleeper hold. But Ally reverse the hold into an inside cradle.
One
Two
Three!
Beav: Ally Braddock has just defeated Krista!
Mouth: And with the inside Cradle never the less.
Randall: Here is your winner by pinfall, Ally Braddock!
[WINNER VIA PINFALL: ALLY BRADDOCK]
--That'll Leave a Mark--
[We cut to the back where Shane Hahn is walking down a hallway in the locker room area of the Taco Bell Arena, dressed casually and sipping on a bottle of water. Just as he comes around the corner, he's hit with a resounding "thud" and is out cold on the ground. A figure wearing a stocking over his head and face steps over him with his back turned to us holding a baseball bat, and stares down at him, laughing slightly. A staff member comes around the corner and sees the man standing over Hahn.]
Staff: HEY!!! WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON?
[Looking up, the man tenses up and turns and runs. The staff member gives chase, but looks down and sees an unconcious Hahn, and kneels down to tend to him while grabbing his radio off his hip.]
Staff: I need a medic in the hallway by the rear entrance! We've had an attack!
[The camera focuses in on Hahn, who has some blood dripping from both his mouth and nose.]
--Match - John Sektor vs. Shane Clemmons--
Cassandra Randall: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 223 pounds…THE DIRTY DOG…SHAAAAANE CLEEEEMMONS!!
[The lights in the arena begin to fade as strobes fire up and crimson red spot lights fire up. A crimson red pot leaf appears spinning in the middle of the ring. Flash bulbs fire as lighters fire up. "Dr. Evening" by Danko Jones begin to play. On the big screen you can see images of soldiers marching mixed in with strippers stripping. Soon these images are replaced by words.
THE DIRTY DOG
SHANE CLEMMENS
Pyros fire as Shane appears from the entrance.
Hey little man don't you understand when Dr. Evening comes around
That woman you call your girlfriend
won't be your woman when the sun comes down...step off!
Hey little man don't you understand when Dr. Evening comes around
That woman you call your girlfriend
won't be your woman when the sun comes down
If she wants me she's got me
Dr. Evening says whatever makes her happy
that woman just ain't your woman no more... step off!
Shane heads to the ring with a brilliant smirk on his face. As he goes he raises the back of his hand towards the fans as if to smack them. His adoring fans scream, the fairweather fans boo. Shane keeps going.
Oh Baby when I got you in the middle of the night
I can feel your heartbeat pumping
and your arms wrapped around me tight
Now we can try several positions and all of them a compromise,
because the only thing that I want to see
is your boyfriend's look of surprise....step off!
Shane rushes the ring, sliding in on his chest. Effortlessly he pops to his feet. He heads to to the corner and climbs to the second turn buckle, gazing out at the fans. He holds his fingers to his lips as if he's smoking a joint, then extends it to the audience. The fans pop, but then suddenly Shane gives a violent rendition of the "fist yourself" hand gesture.
Alright, Dr.Evening comes alive when the clock strikes 12 o'clock
Get on the floor, get in the mood, the mood that hits the spot
Now if you can't wait to gyrate
You need it now or you'll suffocate
Dr.Evening's got that elixer for your insatiable state
Try it on
Shane, loving the roar of the crowd returns to the middle of the ring were he struts, bouncing as he warms up, stretching his neck. He finally pulls his tank top off and tosses it ringside.
You like it?
You like it?
I knew you'd like it baby.
When the evening comes I come alive
Shane returns to the corner, leaning against it as he awaits his opponent. The music dies as the lighting returns to normal.]
Cassandra Randall: And his opponent from Miami, Florida and standing at 6 feet tall and 225 pounds…JOOOOOHN SEEEEKTOR!!!
[The lights go out as the opening jungle like drum beat from Down with sickness hits. The quiet riff then kicks in as the beat gets louder, and green lights flash around the arena. A monkey like scream then echoes around the arena:
"OOHH AH AH AH AH!!!!"
A bang on pyro's explode from the centre stage as the lights come back on and the main power chords blast from the PA. Sektor struts on the stage with his arms aloft, smug smiles on his face and a pair of blacked out shades to add to his image. The Schneid then steps out next to him dressed in mystery. The crowd boo him as he arrogantly makes his way down the ramp to the beat of the music.
Once he reaches the outside of the ring he rolls underneath the ropes and leaps up a turnbuckle. He removes his shades and takes a long look around the arena at all who are heckling him. There are the odd groups who cheer him but the majority give him a negative reception as he hops down to prepare for action.]
Beav: Two really impressive newer recruits to the CWC. John Sektor made his splash immediately going after Kirsta Lewis and making his intentions known.
Mouth: Yeah seriously, guy’s been here what like a week and he’s already public enemy number 1.
Beav: Piss off the wrong people and that’s what is gonna happen.
[John Sektor now gets up and he drags Clemmons to his feet. He then irish whips him into the ropes and when he comes off he clotheslines the Dirty Dog hard to the mat. John into the ropes and he comes off for an elbow drop. Sektor for the cover, but he only gets a two count. Sektor gets back to his feet again and he pulls Clemmons up and after a few chops to the chest he throws him into the ropes again. Clemmons comes off and Sektor with a spinebuster! Quick pin. 1........................................2...............................but Clemmons kicks out!]
Beav: Sektor goin for the quick win but Clemmons is not even close to be ready for that.
Mouth: The Dirty Dog. I like that. Beav, can I change my name to The Dirty Dog?
Beav: How about no? You really wanna piss that guy off? You saw what he was able to do last week.
Mouth: Oh…uh. Jeez Beav, how about you stop trying to call me The Dirty Dog? That’s just mean!
[John Sektor now picks Clemmons up again and sends him into the ropes. John goes for the backdrop, but Clemmons saw it coming and he kicks Sektor hard in the face!! Sektor stumbles backwards and Clemmons charges in on him and takes him to the mat with a stiff roundhouse kick!!! Sektor is on the mat and Clemmons with a standing moonsault on Sektor! Now Clemmons for the cover, 1.........................................................................2.................but John Sektor with a kick out.]
Beav: Both men are trying put this match away early. I’m guess they did their homework.
Mouth: Yeah because professional wrestlers are so known for being studious.
Beav: That’s a pretty dangerous statement Mouth. I know a lot of these guys are much smarter than anyone is willing to give them credit for.
Mouth: Right, and college football players pass their classes because they WORK hard.
[Clemmons picks Sektor up by the head and he hands out a hard right hand. He then grabs him by the arm and hooks in an armbar. But John reverses it and turns it into a short arm clothesline! Clemmons to the mat and John bounces into the ropes and comes off for a legdrop, but Clemmons moved out of the way in time!! Both men back on their feet and they circle each other. Sektor then charges in, but Clemmons kicks him into the midsection and wants to go for a suplex, but John Sektor can move out of it in time. Clemmons and John circle eachother again and this time they actually lock up.]
Beav: Clemmons and Sektor are really going to tit for tat here. This has been a really back and forth match.
Mouth: Jeez Beav, you’re getting me all hot and bothered with that language.
Beav: What in the heck are you talking about?
Mouth: Suuure, you don’t Beav. Suuuuure you don’t.
[They lock up and Sektor hooks in a hammerlock, but Clemmons counters with an elbow to the head, but John reacts by pushing Clemmons chestfirst into the nearest corner!! Clemmons goes in and John Sektor picks him up and backdrop suplex! While Clemmons is slowly getting back to his feet, Sektor climbs the topturnbuckle. He is on top and waits till Clemmons is back on his feet and Sektor dives off the toprope and a floatover from the toprope! And he planted Clemmons's face right into the canvas!! Sektor turns Clemmons on his back and goes for the cover, ......1............................................................2...........................................KICKOUT!!]
Beav: What athleticism from John Sektor! Wow, I haven’t seen him do something like that since PWX days. That was incredible.
Mouth: Hes always been a great wrestler Beav you just don’t give him the credit because hes a bad guy.
Beav: What? I JUST said that he was a great wrestler.
Mouth: I cant listen to everything that you said. You never shut up!
[John Sektor shakes his head and he picks up Clemmons, but Shane counters with a lowblow!! John is in pain and Clemmons grabs him and inverted DDT! Clemmons moves back up and he starts to kick John into the head. He then drags John over near a corner and starts to climb a corner. Clemmons gets on the toprope and he faces the crowd. He then leaps off and 450 splash by The Dirty Dog! Pin attempt! 1...................................................2...................................But John Sektor kicks out of that one!!]
Beav: WOW! That was insane and listen to this crowd! That was absolutely incredible.
Mouth: Yeah and SEKTOR STILL KICKED OUT! He’s givin the Dirty Dog a BATH! BAH!
Beav: I think I’m going to borrow the Dirty Dog’s muzzle for you.
Mouth: Don’t swing that way Beav. But I think I still have The Men’s Club’s phone number if you want…
Beav: Oh God no.
[Clemmons now is shaking his head and he picks Sektor up and nails him with some shots to the head. He then whips him into the ropes and when he comes off he clotheslines him to the canvas. Clemmons then goes to the corner once again and he starts to climb it. He gets to the top, but at that moment John gets back on his feet again. He quickly climbs on the toprope aswell and top rope suplex to Clemmons!]
Beav: Another high impact move but that move also took alot out of Sektor!
Mouth: You are so verbose Beav. It must be the product of a down home education.
Beav: I’ve about had it with you makin fun of me.
Mouth: I’ve about had with you speaking at all.
Beav: Why don’t YOU do the play by play then.
Mouth: FINE!
[5 seconds later John Sektor rolls on top off Clemmons and goes for the cover, ......1...........................................2..........................but Shane Clemmons kicks out! John Sektor can't believe it! John Sektor picks himself up and he goes to pick up Clemmons but Shane springs forward with a clothesline and both of them are back down on the mat! And now Clemmons is back in the match again. Clemmons slowly moves back up and he grabs Sektor and he sends him into the ropes. Sektor comes off and Clemmons with a tornado DDT. He goes for the cover, 1..........................2...............................but Sektor kicks out.]
Mouth: Uh, bad guy not pinned yet. Good guy hitting that move. Uh…look at them go!
Beav: You are going just GREAT
Mouth: See told you I could do it.
[Clemmons grabs Sektor and he throws him into a corner. Sektor goes in backfirst and Clemmons charges in and drives his knee into Sektor in the corner! Clemmons grabs Sektor by the arm and he whips him into the opposite corner. Sektor flies in backfirst again and Clemmons charges in after and he wants to splash on Sektor but Sektor throws his feet into the hair and Clemmons runs right into both boots! Clemmons staggers backwards and Sektor with a running dropkick to take Clemmons to the mat! Sektor bends over to pick up Clemmons, but Clemmons with a small package for the cover, ....1.............................................................2.......................but Sektor with a last second kick out there.]
Mouth: Sektor kicking out again. Clemmons really almost had him with that rolling thingie.
Beav: Small package.
Mouth: HEY! YOU SAID YOU WEREN’T LOOKING IN THE LOCKER ROOM!
[Shane Clemmons picks John up from the mat and he irish whips him into the ropes. Sektor comes off and Clemmons grabs him and he drives his foot into Sektor’s stomach and grabs his head picking him up, hes going for the Eat A Dick! Sektor starts to shake his legs and powers his way back to the ground! He shoves Clemmons backwards and drives his own foot into Shane’s gut and goes for the C-Sektion! Sektor slams into the mat but Clemmons only falls to a knee and rolls out of the way! Both men are glaring at each other from across the ring!]
Beav: These two really just giving everything right now! Neither one of them wants to give up an inch! I am blown away by both competitors.
Mouth: You wish!
Beav: Oh quiet your mouth…tiny.
Mouth: HEY!
[Sektor and Clemmons both lock up again, Sektor getting the upper hand and drilling Clemmons with a European uppercut. Shane Clemmons stumbles backwards and John Sektor grabs his hand and whips him into the ropes, Sektor drives a hard elbow into Shane Clemmon’s face and hooks him for a drop toe hold but Clemmons fights out of it!! Clemmons shoves Sektor off to the side and throws himself into the ring and Make A Bitch! Sektor is gored right into the turnbuckle! Clemmons grabs his leg and pulls him out to the center of the ring and drops down for the pin! 1…….2……3!!]
Beav: WOW! CLEMMONS WITH THE WIN!
Mouth: DAMN DIRTY DOG! Wow…its like peeping into the middle school girls locker room all over again.
Beav: You peeped in the locker room in middle school?
Mouth: No that was yesterday.
[WINNERS VIA PINFALL: SHANE CLEMMENS]
--Misdirection--
[The locker room door opens as Exile stands in front of his begrudgingly assigned cameracrew. He has changed out of his suit and into a bright blue old timey telegram delivery outfit, complete with a little top hat.]
Exile: What do you do you guys think?
Cameraman1: Honestly?
Cameraman2: He means you look GREAT!
Cameraman1: That’s not what I mean.
Exile: Alright, we got a nice package for Kenji, might not smell that nice but I’m sure he will appreciate the subtlety of the message.
[Exile pulls a large fake black mustache and presses it against his upper lips making sure that it’s in place before winking at the camera and heading down the hallway waving at some of the wrestlers staring at him confusedly. He finally comes to a door with Kenji Gosenkugi’s name on it and knocks on it twice. Exile whistles the Looney Tunes theme song while waiting until Kenji finally opens the door dressed impeccably in his suit and tie.]
Kenji: What? I am NOT to be disturbed before a match.
Exile: Paaaackage delivery for Kenji Gookenyogi.
Kenji: GOSENKUGI!
Exile: Glokenspiel.
Kenji: Enough, what is it?
[Exile pulls out a clipboard and pen and sets it on top of the package in his hands.]
Exile: Before you open it you have to sign here.
[Kenji grunts and grabs the pen scribbling his name.]
Exile: And here.
[Kenji scribbles again as Exile turns the page.]
Exile: And here.
[Kenji stares at Exile before finally signing his name.]
Exile: And initial here.
Kenji: This is ridiculous!
Exile: Its company policy sir.
[Kenji signs his name the final time and rips the package out of Exile’s hands and throws open the box as a look of disgust appears on his face.]
Kenji: What in the fuck?
[Kenji stares down at the title belt with his name on it and the steaming pile of human excrement on top of it along with a small post it note that says, “From your Friendly Neighborhood Exile.”]
Kenji: WHO? WHO GAVE YOU THIS?!
Exile: Handsome devil, about my height, weighs about the same as me.
[Kenji is almost trembling with anger as he drops the box on the floor.]
Kenji: WHERE?
Exile: He uh…went that way.
[Exile points down the hallway as Kenji storms the corridor toward the direction Exile led him to turns a corner finally out of sight. Exile doubles over laughing before pulling off the mustache and turning to the cameramen.]
Exile: Well, Th-th-th-th-THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
[Exile spins on his heels whistling the Looney Tunes theme again before leaving the arena, the OPPOSITE way of Kenji. ]
--Match - Ness vs. TaNK vs. Brandon Watkins--
Cassandra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a triple threat match!
Mouth: WOOOOOO!!!! TANK’S GONNA KICK SOME ASS!!!
Beav: What is it with you and that guy?
Mouth: Have you seen the size of him? He’d kick MY ass if I didn’t pull for him!
Beav: I doubt that, Mouth...
Mouth: Better be safe than sorry!
[The lights go off as the opening notes of "Terra in Black" is played across the arena. As soon as the trumpets finish their blaring, white pyro bursts from the stage as Ness makes his way toward the ring. Not going for any kind of flashy entrance, he walks his way toward the ring and enters the bottom rope. He extends his hand in the air as a mixed reaction is heard from the crowd. Ness then looks toward the entrance as the music fades.]
Cassandra: Introducing first, weighing in at 230 pounds and wrestling out of San Diego, California....NESS!!!
[The crowd lets out a round of boos, as he just glares around the arena.]
Beav: Well the crowd’s certainly letting Ness know what they think of him!
[“Ratfinks, Suicide Tanks and Cannibal Girls” by Rob Zombie begins to blast, as TaNK appears from behind the curtain and walks to the edge of the ramp, looking around the arena with a smug look. About 29 seconds into the song, he raises his right arm in the air with a fist and makes his way down to the ring. When he reaches ringside, he pulls himself up onto the apron with the second rope and climbs in, staring down Ness as he stretches out a bit.]
Cassandra: Introducing next, weighing in at 254 pounds, and wrestling out of Fayetteville, Arkansa.....TANK!!!
[Another round of boos are let out for TaNK, who seems oblivious to them.]
Mouth: These people are crazy! He wrestles freaking alligators!!! You don’t think he’ll kill them all?!?
Beav: He is one tough son of a gun, that’s for sure!
[The sounds of "Bittersweet Symphony" explode over the PA system, as the lights begin to flash shades of red and gold. Sparks begin to pour from the over hang of the stage, as two figures emerge from behind the curtain. The figures step out, walking through the sparks, and identify themselves as Brandon Watkins and his manager Jessica Bollinger. The couple strikes a pose, as a rather large silver pyro shoots off behind them. The couple then, hand in hand, makes their way down the entrance ramp, and stops at the steel steps leading up into the ring. Brandon holds Jessica's hand as she makes her way up the steps, quickly jumping on the ring apron and holding the ropes open for her. After entering himself, he climbs the far turnbuckle and strikes yet another pose for the fans as they cheer. He jumps down off of the ropes and turns to look at his two opponents, as Jessica exits the ring.]
Cassandra: And finally, weighing in at 235 pounds and wrestling out of Phoenix, Arizona....BRANDON WATKINS!!!
[A big pop for Watkins as he raises his hands in the air one more time. But the referee doesn’t wait for him to finish as he calls for the bell, and TaNK quickly charges in and levels Watkins with a clothesline.]
Beav: Well TaNK’s not wasting any time in getting this thing started, is he?
Mouth: Hell no he’s not! He’s been on a roll the past couple of weeks, and he wants to keep it going!
[TaNK quickly reaches down and pulls Watkins up by his hair as Jessica looks on with some early concern. Glancing back at Ness, who’s standing ready near the far corner, TaNK whips Watkins towards Ness, who grabs him, lifts him up, and gives him a set of Snake Eyes across the top turnbuckle.]
Beav: Some early teamwork being shown here by TaNK and Ness here...I heard that they used to run together briefly last year?
Mouth: You couldn’t tell it by listening to Ness talk about it earlier this week!
[Ness pulls Watkins up again and shoves him into the corner and quickly unloads 3 big chops across his chest. He then spins out of the way, as TaNK charges in and drives a huge shoulder into the ribs of Watkins, but wraps his arms around his waist and pulls him out of the corner and up in the air, spinning him around and slamming him down hard in the center of the ring.]
Beav: I don’t think the alligators took this much abuse down in the swamp earlier this week....oh! TaNK’s got the leg hooked!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
Mouth: DAMN IT NESS!
Beav: Ness is in to break up the count with a stomp to the back of TaNK’s head!
[TaNK gets up quickly and glares at Ness in anger, throwing a wild punch that Ness ducks under. He grabs the bigger man from behind and hits him with a German suplex. He pops back up to his feet again and quickly runs off the ropes, coming back to drop an elbow right into TaNK’s sternum. He hooks the leg for the cover.]
Beav: And now it’s Ness with the pin attempt!
ONE!!!
Kickout!
Mouth: HA! Like THAT was going to keep him down!
[Ness isn’t phased, though. He gets back to his feet and gives another stomp to TaNK’s head before reaching down, grabbing his arm, and putting him in a leg scissor arm bar, wrenching on his elbow and shoulder. TaNK is in obvious pain right away, but he’s able to fairly easily pull himself the few inches needed to reach the bottom rope. The referee starts the 5 count to make Ness break the hold, and Ness lets go right at 4.]
Beav: Ness isn’t backing down from the bigger opponent, that’s for sure! You’ve gotta respect that!
Mouth: I don’t have to respect anything about that freak!
[Ness gets back to his feet and kicks the bottom rope, showing some frustration. TaNK begins to get to his feet, and Ness turns around and drops a couple of forearms across the big man’s back, but they have little effect. TaNK gets to a full vertical base, and Ness launches a right hand, but TaNK blocks it and fires off a huge shot of his own which lays Ness out on his back. He pops right back up though, only to get laid out in the same fashion again. This time, he doesn’t get up right away, but TaNK helps him back to his feet by grabbing a handful of hair. He glances over and sees that the ref is behind TaNK, and lifts a knee right to his groin, causing his opponent to let go of him. He quickly hits a European uppercut to TaNK’s jaw and then backs him up into the ropes, pushing him off and whipping him across the ring, and landing a perfect dropkick right to the jaw, knocking him down. Watkins, in the mean time, has pulled himself over to the ropes and up to his feet, and is behind Ness as he gets to his feet. He charges in at Ness, but Ness sees him out of the corner of his eye and side steps him, grabs him by the back of the head, and tosses him over the top rope out to the floor.]
Beav: After that low blow, Ness seems to have this thing under control!
Mouth: Damn cheater!
Beav: Like you’ve never laughed about someone doing that in the ring!
Mouth: This time it’s different!
[Ness turns back around and sees TaNK fighting to get back to his feet. He grabs TaNK by the head and tries to hit a jaw breaker, but TaNK pushes him off so hard that he bounces off the ropes and comes back, walking right into a boot to the stomach. The big man grabs him in a front face lock and lifts him up in the air for a suplex, but turns it over for a jackhammer, and holds the lateral press for the cover.]
ONE!!
TWO!!
THRE...
Beav: And Watkins dives back into the ring to break it up this time!
[TaNK gets to his feet and stares down Watkins, who throws a punch that lands, but doesn’t phase TaNK. Instead, he just takes it and smiles. Watkins hits another punch, but with the same result. He tries to throw one more, but TaNK catches his fist in mid air and wrenches it around into a wrist lock, pulls him in, scoops him up, and drops him across his leg with a backbreaker. He gets back to his feet and pulls Watkins up, whipping him hard into the corner and then following him in with a crushing clothesline that causes Watkins to fold like an accordion in the corner. Ness is sitting up as TaNK turns his attention back towards him, and Ness rakes his eyes, turning him away. Ness glances off to his right and runs for the ropes, springboarding off the second rope and catching him with an elbow to the side of the head. Ness runs off of the ropes running in the other direction now and comes in with a flying forearm, knocking TaNK down to a knee. Looking again, Ness runs towards the ropes on another side of the ring, but as he does, Kyle Cross jumps out of the crowd and pulls down the top rope, lowering the bridge and causing Ness to topple out of the ring and down the floor where he begins to pound away on him. Watkins is barely back to his feet now, as TaNK gets back to a vertical base. Watkins charges TaNK, who tries to fend him off with a clothesline, but Watkins ducks underneath. TaNK spins around, and just as Watkins comes to a stop and turns around, TaNK explodes with a spear, and then quickly hooks him up in the...]
Mouth: CHOKELIFE!!!
Beav: He’s got it locked in, but Ness may have been the one to be in position to win this match if Kyle Cross hadn’t gotten involved!
Mouth: It’s payback for last week! I’m not a big fan of Kyle Cross, but he just went up a notch or two in my book tonight!
Beav: AND THAT’S IT!! WATKINS IS TAPPING!!!
[The ref calls for the bell as security rushes out from the back to break up the fight going on outside of the ring. TaNK finally lets go of the hold after some persuasion from the ref as his music begins to blast.]
Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match by submission.....TANK!!!!
[The crowd lets out a round of boos, as TaNK just stands up and raises his right fist high in the air. On the outside, Ness and Kyle Cross are still trying to get at each other through security.]
[WINNER VIA SUBMISSION: TaNK]
--"Cross"ing Paths--
[We again cut to the back where we find Kirsta Lewis walking down a hallway with a scowl on her face, holding her neck as Tyler Boyd walks next to her silently, holding two plastic cups filled with ice water. As they pass by a door, Kyle Cross steps out into the hallway and bumps in to her, which in turn sends her bumping into Boyd who has the water spill all over his jeans. Cross looks apologetic at first, but flashes a smirk when he sees Boyd's "misfortune."]
Cross: You know, they make these products called Depends now...could help you out with that little problem of yours.
[Cross laughs a little at what he figures is an innocent enough joke, but Boyd glares at him, throwing the cups down to the ground. Kirsta looks up at Boyd and puts her hand on his chest to hold him back.]
Boyd: I'm glad you think that's funny...but you know what's even funnier? The fact that your sorry ass can't beat a career loser like Ness...
[The smirk quickly erodes from Cross' face, as he steps up to Boyd.]
Cross: That's pretty big talk for someone who doesn't even have the balls to step into the ring here in CWC. You're just an over-glorified cheerleader for your little girlfriend here who couldn't quite get the job done herself tonight, could she? Why don't you go change into some big boy pants, pack up your pom-poms, and quit whining over an innocent accident.
[Boyd smiles in frustration, nodding his head slowly. Kirsta turns and glares at Cross.]
Kirsta: You know what Kyle, it was an accident...just say you're sorry. There's no need for personal insults.
Cross: I'll apologize to you...so I'm sorry for bumping into you. But your boyfriend can kiss my ass as far as I'm concerned.
[Boyd's face contorts in anger as he lunges towards Cross, but Kirsta is able to initially hold him back.]
Kirsta: Ty! No! It's not worth it...not tonight...
[A few staff members run over and step between Boyd and Cross. Boyd's staring him down while three men hold him back, while Cross.]
Cross: You want a fight so bad? Meet me out in the ring...any place, any time.
Boyd: Be careful what you ask for...
[Cut back to ringside.]
--MAIN EVENT - TAG TEAM MATCH - Ryu Nakajima & Kenji vs. Brad Jackson & James Lee--
Beav: I'm not sure what it is, but Tyler Boyd's been a bit on edge around here lately...
Mouth: He's protective of his woman! What's wrong with that?
Beav: What's WRONG with that? He's not even on the durn roster, and he's picking fights backstage every week it seems!
Mouth: He's "The Main Damn Attraction," Beav! He can do whatever the hell he wants!
Beav: Well all I know is that we're down to our Main Event tonight, and this should be a heckuva tag team contest!
Mouth: This should be entertaining to say the least.
Beav: Durn right, this is going to be a memorable night for CWC right here, three of the top dogs, in one match!
[The opening strings of “Getting High” by Ian Brown ring out around the arena and the crowd instinctively give a negative reaction as the lights dim down. The big screen provides the only light, and shows Ryu Nakajima standing in an empty room wearing a suit and shades. The camera zooms in slowly until just after the guitars kick in, when it switches to a montage of him in action. A burst of red pyros bit the house lights back up as we see Ryu Nakajima standing in the centre of the entryway, wearing a long white silk coat over his ring attire of red wrestling pants with silver flashes. The music wavers, and then blends seamlessly into "X" by X-Japan as Kenji Gosenkugi joins his partner on the ramp.]
Cassandra: Making their way to the ring now, at a combined weight of 441 pounds... RYU NAKAJIMA AND KENJI GOSENKUGI!!!
[Ryu strides quickly down the ramp ignoring the crowd, and leaps over the top rope. He climbs onto the far turnbuckle and surveys the crowd, before taking of his long coat and carefully rolling it up in the corner of the ring. He makes a signal for the referee to keep an eye out, and does a few stretches in preparation for the bell while Kenji hops up on the apron, pulling on the top rope.]
Beav: What’s up with Ryu? What a snob, look at him snubbing those fans.
[The lights dim, heavy mist filling the ramp as strobe lights begin to pulse slowly. A steady bass throb begins, growing in volume, sounding much like a heartbeat. A single gunshot shatters the silence, followed by mocking laughter and Jackson's voice hurling insults before the music skips, and then the sounds of "Lies" by Evanescence filters through the speakers. Dark red strobes pulsate on the entranceway, and a dark figure moves among them, stepping forward as indigo fountains of pyrotechnic spark either side of him. He strides forwards, ignoring the crowd reaction. With a feedback squeal, the music bleeds into "Ghost Riders in the Sky" and James Lee comes out behind Jackson, looking almost ecstatic.]
Cassandra: Making their way to the ring now, the challengers... at a combined weight of 487 pounds... the team of JAMES LEE AND JACKSON!!
Mouth: Jackson does not look impressed at this tag situation.
Beav: Can you blame him? James Lee's only wrestled a single match here, and rumor has it that was his first one in his professional career.
[Jackson circles the ring once, his eyes steady, a look of angry concentration on his face, before ascending the ring steps and climbing up on the apron.]
Mouth: Gotta wonder how much Jackson is fearing the outcome of this.
Beav: Why? Jackson is a celebrated champion, on a hot streak! He's going to Acension as the tournament favorite and Lee is southern! Together they’re unstoppable.
Mouth: Rednecks, they know how to fight. Right, Beav?
Beav: Lee and Kenji kicking off the match. This is going to blow the roof off the place!
[Lee springs into action, going for a fast clothesline but Kenji ducks and follows up with a double-arm DDT. Kenji waits for Lee to get up, and they immediately collide in the middle of the ring, locked into a test of strength. Kenji lashes out with his foot, connecting a kick to the knee that sends Lee down. Kenji backs off, giving Lee the chance to regain his footing as he makes the tag to Ryu.]
Beav: Ryu is the legal man now, probably his first time for that.
Mouth: Don’t quit your day job, Beav. You're a sucky comedian. What the hell is Ryu doing?
[Lee grabs Ryu, attempting to send him packing to the ropes with an Irish whip, but Ryu resists, pulling Lee off balance and right into his arms. He locks around Lee’s midsection and lifts him up, squeezing with a bear hug before flipping Lee backwards with a snap suplex. Ryu scrambles to his feet and collides with Lee, slamming into him with a shoulder block, and then takes him down with an armdrag takedown, and immediately locking on a crossface hold. Lee slams an elbow into Ryu’s sternum and strains for the corner, missing Brad Jackson’s outstretched hand by inches as Ryu pulls him back.]
Beav: Ryu is all over Lee, schooling that rookie in a technical supershow.
Mouth: He’s all over the rookie like white on rice. Jackson's freaking out!
Beav: I like Ryu Nakajima, his sheer physicality makes him a force to be reckoned with.
[Lee struggles towards the corner again, breaking out of the hold. Ryu grabs Lee from behind and executes a pump handle suplex on him. Lee is down and clearly feeling the impact with a look of surprise on his face. Lee shakes his head, trying like hell to clear the cobwebs. Ryu capitalizes, on the turnbuckle now and leaps off onto Lee with a perfectly timed leg drop. Ryu crawls over Lee and hits him with a back fist as he climbs back to his feet. He pulls Lee up by the hair and connects with a vertical suplex with amazing hang time, driving Lee almost through the mat. Ryu strolls over to his corner, and makes the tag to Kenji. Kenji goes to the top rope, and with a boost from Ryu, does a flip and splashes down on Lee.]
Mouth: Now that’s teamwork! These two are a well-oiled machine of tag team wrestling!
Beav: I can’t believe it, Lee is battling back!
[Lee breaks out of Kenji’s attempt for a facelock, and fires off a few punches, driving Kenji back towards Jackson, who’s standing on the second rope, leaning into the ring. Lee spins Kenji around and sends him packing towards the corner, following in with a corner splash and a quick tag to Jackson.]
Mouth: You have to give credit where credit is due, and Brad Jackson is one of the most technically sound wrestlers in this business.
Beav: For a psycho.
Mouth: Period.
Beav: Fine, for a psycho. Period.
[Brad scoops Kenji up and levels him with an inverted atomic drop, following up with a few well-placed kicks to the ribs. Kenji grabs Jackson’s foot and hauls him off balance and right into a victory roll.]
Mouth: Count it!
[The ref hits two and Jackson manages to roll through into his own pinfall, but after the one count he releases the hold, getting to his knees in the corner and right into a thumb to the eye courtesy of Ryu. Brad is back on his feet in an instant, one eye squinted shut as he circles Kenji warily. Brad feints towards the corner, lunging at Ryu who hops down off the apron, and then turns as he springs forward, slamming a vicious looking uppercut into Kenji’s jaw. Kenji shakes it off and fires back with one of his own that Brad barely dodges in time. Jackson explodes with fury, slamming a series of vicious punches into Kenji's chest and gut, sending him back against the ropes into his corner, where Lee waits. Lee slaps Jackson on the shoulder and dives between the ropes, taking Kenji down with a chopblock to the knees.]
Mouth: Oh man! Jackson looks pissed. He was manhandling Kenji all over the ring, and Lee just stole the tag.
Beav: Trouble in paradise.
[Lee connects with a swinging bulldog on Kenji, driving his face into the mat. He floats over for the cover, and gets a quick two.]
Beav: Kenji manages to kick out. Lee looks confused; I think he thought this was in the bag! Look, he’s backing off to pick his next opening.
[Kenji gets back to his feet, looking slightly worse for wear, and Lee charges in, only to have Kenji hook his arsm and level him with an underhook suplex. Lee gets up, staggering and stumbling before trying to crawl towards his partner, but Kenji pulls him back, applying a kneelock submission hold, before turning it over into a side leg lock. Jackson storms the ring, and breaks it up with a well-timed kick to Kenji’s face. Ryu leaps in and drives Jackson back, demolishing him with a Suplex 66 just as Kenji slips out of Lee’s attempt at a Samoan drop and nails a wicked neckbreaker DDT.]
Beav: Look at that shameless showboating. The crowd’s not liking it.
Mouth: Can you blame them?
[Jackson holds out his hand, and Lee takes it, shaking firmly. A flicker of something crosses Jackson’s face as Lee pulls his hand back, only to have Jackson grab him and send him packing into Kenji's grip.]
Beav: Jackson just fed his partner to the enemy!
Mouth: WHAT THE HELL?!
Beav: I’m disgusted. This is not how a champion acts.
[Kenji launches himself and connects with Lee’s head, locking in the facelock and slamming him down on the unforgiving canvas with a dragon stunner. Lee rolls through the ropes to the floor and Ryu leaps off the apron and connects with a flying elbow to the back of Lee’s neck before rolling him into the ring.]
Mouth: Wait! Who’s the legal man?
Beav: Kenji is, and he’s going for the pin, right here. Gakkarida! This is a travesty! I can’t believe Jackson is going to stand for this underhanded mess!
Mouth: Get over it. Swerves sell seats.
[Kenji drops for the pin and Jackson gets between the ropes, and bodily pulls Kenji off Lee. He sends Kenji down hard with a gutwrech powerbomb, and turns around, right into a dropkick to the knee that he blocks at the last second, making the mistake of using his injured arm to do so. The kick connects solidly, and Jackson crumbles, his face bone white with pain as he slides out of the ring, sitting down hard on the floor.]
Beav: Jackson's down and out.
[Kenji rolls Lee into a single leg crab, using the ropes for leverage, and hooking the back of Lee's tights for good measure. He gets the three count with ease while Ryu stands over Jackson, who's showing no signs of getting back up from his crouch on the mat.]
Mouth: I feel sick.
Beav: Kenji and Ryu steal themselves a win, at Jackson's expense.
Cassandra: Your winners, RYU NAKAJIMA AND KENJI GOSENKUGI!!!
