CWC Presents [The CWC logo flashes on and off the black screen in a matter of seconds, when in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, it reads “Last Week.” We then fade in to a black and white shot towards the end of the Anarchy Associated vs. C.O.D. tag team match.] [Jackson kicks out just in time to a big crowd pop! Demon slams Georgie into the guard rail on the outside and then nails her with The Demon Juice on the outside, grabs a chair, and slides into the ring behind Double$s, who turns around and sees him, and threatens to disqualify him, pulling the chair out of his hands. Demon gets right in his face, and Double$s decides he doesn’t want to hear it, winds up, and clobbers The Demon with it, causing him to stumble backwards and fall out of the ring. Tossing the chair aside, Double$s turns back around and walks right into a Hells Bitch Kick from Kirsta Lewis!] Beav: SHE CAN’T DO THAT!!! Boyd: Beav...um...she just...did. [Kirsta turns back around and barely ducks a clothesline from Jackson. She quickly picks up the chair that Double$s tossed aside and comes up swinging it like a baseball bat, smacking Jackson across the face with it, laying him out. She drops down for the cover, but there’s no ref, as Double$s is out on his back.] Mouth: No! The damn ref’s out! Beav: It’s C.O.D.’s fault that Double$s is out! This is what they deserve! [The scene slows down as it focuses in on the commentator's table, where "The Main Attraction" Tyler Boyd, who was doing guest commentary, removes his headset, throws it down, and slides into the ring under the bottom rope, pulls Double$s over to where Kirsta has Jackson pinned, and picks up his hand and slams it down to the mat three times to count the pinfall.] [The crowd heat is huge as Demon and Kirsta pick up the massive win over Georgie Nickles and Jackson!] Beav: Oh now come on, blatant cheating from Kirsta and Demon and a big assist from Boyd! Is this what the C.O.D is going to be all about? Mouth: Certainly looks that way! [The scene fades out as Boyd is raising both Kirsta and Demon's hands in victory in the middle of the ring. We then fade into a live shot of Bryan Baxman and TaNK walking down the hallway towards Baxman's office as the Chairman is reviewing some paperwork on a clipboard. They reach the office, and he reaches out to open the door when he sees that it's already ajar. He looks at TaNK with a confused look and enters slowly with his newly acquired "Enforcer" behind him. Sitting in Baxman's chair behind the desk with a nasty glare on his face is Jackson. Baxman's face quickly turns to a scowl, as TaNK steps up right beside Baxman and folds his arms across his chest, peering down at Jackson.] Baxman: What the hell is this about? [Jackson looks up for a second before slowly rising to his feet.] Jackson: You and I need to have a little talk... [Slowly coming around the desk, Jackson makes his way right into the boss' face, prompting TaNK to step in closer. Baxman holds his hand up signaling to TaNK that he's got it under control, but TaNK doesn't back off. He just rolls his shoulders and narrows his eyes in Jackson's direction.] Jackson: Man to man...you need to tell me right now...did you put Boyd up to his little stunt last week? I mean...let's be honest. [Jackson has an almost eerie calm over him as he runs his hand over his mouth.] Jackson: It seems like his little slut girlfriend has you wrapped around her little finger. Baxman: What the hell does Natalia have to do with any.... [Jackson cuts him off quickly.] Jackson: Not that slut...the one who cracked me across the face with a steel chair before Boyd got into the ring and "helped" Styles make the count... Baxman: You know what I think? [Baxman smirks a bit.] Baxman: I think you're a little paranoid there, Brad... [Being called by his first name by Baxman obviously gets under Jackson's skin.] Baxman: But let me be crystal clear about two things. First...Kirsta Lewis doesn't have me wrapped around ANY part of her body...and second...I had absolutely NOTHING to do with that. Tyler Boyd was here to make the announcement about the new show. He asked if he could spend some time on commentary with Beav and Mouth since he's known them for years, and I didn't see any harm in it. Jackson: Yeah, well I have an empty bottle of aspirin proving there was harm. So tough guy...if you're the big man around here and have control of what's going on...just what are you going to do about this little situation we find ourselves in? [Baxman laughs a little bit.] Baxman: Just what do you want me to do? Tyler Boyd isn't here this week...he's not even on the damn roster. You know what it sounds like to me? Jackson: What's that? Baxman: That you're just pissed that someone finally got one up on you...The Dark Horse finally got the short end of the stick, and you don't know how to deal with it. You're a big boy...I have a show to run. Work out your own damn problems on your own damn time. Jackson: So that's it, huh? Baxman: That's it. [Jackson turns and heads for the door. But before he exits, he turns and looks back at Baxman.] Jackson: Maybe I will just take care of this myself after all... [Jackson leaves the office in an obviously bad mood, and Baxman and TaNK glance at each other as we cut to the opening video package.]
–Start the Show-- [We cut to the opening Whiplash montage, as the opening electronic tones of Linkin Park’s “Points of Authority” begin to play, while we see flashes of the faces of various CWC wrestlers. Once the heavy guitar riff kicks in, we go through a quick action sequence before the “Whiplash” logo flashes all over the screen, and finally settles in the center as the music cuts out, and we move to inside of The Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. The building’s packed with fans who are all on their feet holding up signs such as “I WANNA RIDE THE TANK!”, “KIRSTA <3 TYLER”, and “RUN, NOAH, RUN!” The camera finally cuts to the ringside commentator’s table, where we find Hal “The Beav” Cleaver and Mikey “The Mouth” Munson wearing similar CWC polo shirts. Beav’s hair is combed in the usual schoolboy fashion, as Mouth has his New York Yankee’s cap turned backwards with his long hair tucked under the hat and behind his ears.] Beav: After a wild Whiplash last Thursday night, tensions are obviously running high backstage, and we're just starting! I'm Hal Cleaver alongside, as always, my partner Mikey Munson...and Mouth, it doesn't look like Jackson and Anarchy Associated are going to take what happened last week against C.O.D. sitting down! Mouth: Buncha whiners in this business. DEAL WITH IT, JACKSON! Beav: Be careful what you say, Mouth! Mouth: I'm not scared of him. Beav: Well you damn well should be! Especially considering he's got to be about as hot as a rabbit in heat! Mouth: I don't even want to know why you have any knowledge about that... Beav: But we've got more than that going on tonight! Three more wrestlers make their debut tonight, and the CWC Championship Tournament rolls on! Mouth: Plus we've got a second round preview match including the four wrestlers who have already advanced to the second round in the winner's bracket! Beav: We're ready to go! Championship Wrestling Council's "Whiplash" starts now!
--Chaos?--
[The camera feed came in slowly, at first picking up nothing but scan lines and static before the dimly lit locker room faded into view. Before the image can adjust more, noise assaults the senses as a hulking monster of a man stormed into view with a slim black cell phone pressed to his ear. It was none other than Brad Jackson, or simply Jackson to those in the industry.]
–Match - Welcome to CWC - Kyle Cross vs. Fish vs. TaNK–
Cassandra: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Welcome to CWC match. Introducing first, from Fayetteville, Arkansas, weighing in at 254 pounds… TANK! Beav: What in the world? Kyle Cross was sitting out with the crowd! Mouth: Doesn't he know that if he's competing, he doesn't have to buy a ticket? Beav: I guess he didn't get the memo! [WINNER VIA PINFALL: KYLE CROSS]
–A New Beginning--
[We are showing Matthew Murphy in his locker room. He starts to talk as our cameraman enters.] Murphy: Why the hell am I off this week? I get on a role and they cut me down again. It's a god damn conspiracy. Bryan Baxman has no idea the talent he's wasting by having me sit on my ass. Oh well, that will bite him in the ass in the end. [Matthew stands up and walks over to a picture on the wall. It's of former wife Shannon Lester, who passed away tragically last year.] Murphy: Shannon, if only you could see me now. I'm here and I'm winning. I made sure that dress wearing, beer guzzling, will suck you off at a drop of a dime, piece of shit Darin Zion isn't even around to try and touch you. Though it doesn't matter much now does it. Your not here, and you never will be again. But, like I was told by the priest at your funeral. Past experiences help create new beginnings. And this is CWC. This isn't PWX, this isn't TFWF, this isn't even SoH. This is the primetime. This is where legends will be made, and futures will be molded. People will be broken down into nothing and tossed aside unless they are capable of making a name for themself. That's why I'm here. I'm here to beat the lifes of The Demon, Adam James, Ness, and Heretic. I refuse to let one of them try to think they can beat me. Whether it is on Whiplash, Hell 2 Pay, or Pay Per View. I really don't give a damn. I am here to win the big one. And no one, male or female, will stop me. This is CWC. It is a new beginning. IT IS MY NEW BEGINNING. My name is Matthew Murphy. Welcome to the future. [Cut back to the ringside area.]
–Match - Triple Threat - Ness vs. Shane "The Bishop" Anderson vs. Patrick Pines–

Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall... [WINNER VIA PINFALL: GEORGIE NICKLES]
–Improv Hour with Double$s--
[Hell Song by Sum 41 plays throughout the arena. The crowd starts to boo as Double$s makes his way from the back through the entrance all dressed up in a black suit from head to toe & a mic in the right hand.]
–Tournament Match - Round 1 - Peter Lenex vs. Blake Stone–
Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen this is a first round match in the CWC Double Shot Title Tournament…introducing first… [The lights dim down as "Ether" by Nothingface begins to play throughout the arena. Smoke begins to pour onto the stage, covering the floor from the entrance to the ringside area. "I'll never hesitate "I know everyone The curtains part and the "God of War" himself walks out from the back wearing his black trench coat. He pauses at the top of the ramp, smoke swirling around his legs, before slowly walking down the ramp. He reaches the ring and climbs up the ring steps, slowly climbing into the ring and pacing around in a circle, his eyes showing no response to the crowds boos.] Cassandra: …from Raleigh, North Carolina…weighing 276 pounds…Peter Lenex. Beav: Now we all know Lenex hasn’t had the best of luck recently when it comes to picking up wins, but tonight is the biggest match of his CWC career so far and I know he’ll bring his A game. Mouth: A game, B game, C game, whatever, this guy still sucks harder than fifteen vacuum cleaners. In case you don’t understand fat boy, I don’t like him! Cassandra: And his opponent… [“Coming Undone” by Korn begins to play. Stone steps out from the back and looks around the arena to a supportive reaction from the fans. He lifts his arms overhead and the drops to this side and seemingly bows his head to say a quick prayer before he starts down the aisle. He briefly slaps hands with a couple of fans before focusing himself on the ring.] Cassandra: from Anniston, Alabama, weighing in at 215 pounds…Blake Stone! Beav: The CWC fans have taken to this youngster in a big way and no wonder. A great showing last week and now he’s in with a shot at advancing in the tournament if he can defeat Peter Lenex. Mouth: Another young, good looking kid that can wrestle better than most people can walk! Where the hell does Baxman find these guys, is he growing them in a tank or something? [Lenex doesn’t even wait for the bell and charges Stone nailing him with punches and kicks, he whips him off the ropes and goes for a back elbow but Stone ducks it, hits the opposite ropes and leaps with a flying forearm shot that takes Lenex down to the mat! The crowd pop as Stone is on his feet and as Lenex stands he nails him with a drop kick that staggers Lenex against the ropes. The youngster charges, but Lenex tips him up over the top rope and he lands on the ring apron! Lenex swings a right hand but Stone ducks and then nails him in the head with a great looking roundhouse kick! Lenex staggers back into the middle of the ring as stone sets himself and then springboards off the top rope, but Lenex is waiting with a massive lariat to the face that knocks Stone out of the air to a big ‘ohh’ from the crowd! Lenex shakes off the early offence by Stone and then brings him to his feet before dumping him with a belly to back suplex! Lenex makes the cover.] ONE… TWO... [Stone kicks out in time! Lenex brings him to his feet and whips him off the ropes, he goes for a boot to the face, but Stone slides under it, gets on his feet and nails a flying back elbow to the face of Lenex! With him dazed Stone charges and hits a clothesline knocking the bigger man over the top rope and to the floor as the crowd pop.] Beav: A really fast start to his match by both men, Peter Lenex using his veteran experience to stay ahead of this youngster Blake Stone, but Stone is using his quickness very effectively! Mouth: Looks like he’s getting ready to fly! [Lenex is stunned on the outside and just getting to his feet as Stone hits the opposite ropes and then cartwheels in the ring, before flipping over the top rope, landing on Lenex’s shoulders and then flipping him over with a headscissors to a massive reaction from the crowd!] Mouth: Holy crap! What the hell was that? Beav: I believe it’s called ‘something we could never do with ten years of practice!’ Mouth: Speak for yourself tubby! [Stone leaps to his feet and hypes up the crowd some more before rolling Lenex into the ring and making the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Lenex powers out of the pin attempt and struggles back to his feet. Stone fires off some kicks to the legs and body of Lenex before trying to whip him off the ropes, reversal by Lenex, Stone rebounds and ducks an elbow, hops onto the middle rope and then springboards back with a flying kick to the face! The crowd pop as he hits a front flip leg drop before making the cover again!] ONE… TWO… [Again Lenex kicks out in time as the crowd are loving the fast paced action they have seen thus far! Stone hits another couple of kicks to the head of Lenex before going onto the ring apron. He springboards off the top and lands on Lenex’s shoulder, he tried for the headscissors but Lenex blocks it! He heaves Stone up and then runs towards the corner and hurls the young high flyer into the turnbuckles with a running powerbomb!! The crowd ‘ohh’ again as Stone’s head and neck smash off the turnbuckle! Lenex brings him to his feet and hits an over head belly to belly suplex out the corner before dropping and making the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Stone kicks out in time to a good crowd pop. Lenex is quickly on him with stomps before getting the mount and driving down elbow shots to the face and head of Stone. Lenex rears back one final time and smashes down onto Stone’s nose with a sickening crack! The fans at ringside wince as blood starts to flow from the nose of Blake Stone! Lenex gets to his feet and waits for the youngster to stand up before charging and nailing him with a huge running lariat! He makes the cover, hooking the leg.] ONE… TWO… [Stone rolls his shoulder up but Lenex quickly hooks him in a rear chin lock and keeps him down and grounded on the mat.] Beav: Folks, Peter Lenex has got super aggressive in this match and that looks like a broken nose for young Blake Stone. Mouth: Ha, not so pretty now is he? I like Lenex’s tactics here, keep the high flyer grounded and just try and pummel him into the mat! That’s how I would wrestle. Beav: I think some of Stone’s blood landed on your shirt! Mouth: OH MY GOD! WHERE? WHERE? GET IT OFF ME!! Beav: Haha! [Lenex has the rear chin lock in tight and cranks away on the hold as Stone’s face is now very bloody and his nose looks a mess. The crowd rally behind him and he slowly starts trying to get to his feet. Both men are on their feet as Stone fires off some elbows to the mid section, he breaks free of the hold and goes for an enzeguri, but Lenex ducks it, then drives an elbow into the back of Stone’s head before heaving him off the mat with a wheelbarrow suplex! He keeps hold of Stone and lifts him up into a German suplex and plants him! He keep hold of Stone, lifts him up and positions him for a piledriver, but Stone blocks it and is able to sweep Lenex’s legs! He goes for an elbow drop but Lenex moves and then punts Stone right in the nose! The crowd look on as Lenex sets Stone up and drills him with a piledriver before making the cover.] ONE… TWO… THR… [NO! Stone gets his shoulder up off the mat just in time to a huge crowd pop! Lenex can’t believe it and he quickly goes back to the mount and rains down elbow strikes. He brings Stone to his feet, whips him off the ropes and goes for a back drop, but Stone lands on his feet and as Lenex turns around he nails him with a super kick to the jaw! Lenex falls back into the corner as Stone recovers on one knee before charging and nailing a double knee strike to the chest in the corner! Lenex falls out of the corner and onto the mat and Stone hits a nice assai moonsault off the middle rope before making a cover.] ONE… TWO… [Lenex kicks out in time! Stone wipes the blood off his face and brings Lenex to his feet, he whips him towards the ropes, but Lenex ducks the clothesline, he rebounds and Stone leap frogs him, Lenex hits the ropes and both men hit a clothesline to the other and they are both down! The crowd go wild for the action as the referee starts his count.] Beav: This match is there for the taking, one or two more big moves and we could have a winner. Mouth: I don’t know, Stone looks really dazed after all those high impact moves and shots to his broken nose. I still think Peter Lenex is the man for this match. [Both men get to their feet with the referee’s count at 8! Stone is able to block a right hand from Lenex and then nails him with a roaring elbow! Lenex is laid out cold as Stone climbs to the top turnbuckle. He steadies himself but Lenex is up and he pushes Stone’s leg, crotching him on the top turnbuckle. Lenex quickly climbs up the turnbuckles and goes for a belly to belly suplex, he throws Stone over, but somehow Stone lands on his feet to a huge crowd pop!! Lenex turns around and he is blasted with a super kick from Stone and then planted with Voluntary Manslaughter!! Stone falls onto Lenex and makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… THREE… [The crowd pop big as Blake Stone picks up a huge win over Peter Lenex to advance in the World Title bracket. Stone staggers to his feet and wipes the blood from his nose and face before saluting the fans in attendance.]
[WINNER VIA PINFALL: BLAKE STONE]
–A Conversation You Never Want to Have With Your Boss--
[Noah Drakin is standing in front of a bench in his locker room, his camo pants on as usual but his white wife beater and leather vest are absent to show off his abs. The girls in the arena screams as he turns around, still rolling his shoulders to stretch them out. He cracks his neck by turning it to the right quickly then back to the left quickly.]
–Tournament Match - Round 1 - Adam "Crazed" James vs. Noah Drakin–
“KILLING IN THE NAME OF….” Beav: Well Drakin's in the ring now, and things just aren't getting easier for him. Last week he cheated his way to a victory over Blake Stone...but this week he's got the "Crazed" one! Mouth: Bunch of psychos are running around this damn joint... [The opening chords of Metallica's "The Frayed End of Sanity" hits the sound system as the lights in the arena cut to complete darkness. The crowd falls silent, as the faint chanting can be heard over the guitar and base drum. Beav: And there's Adam "Crazed" James! You know he's definitely looking to start this tournament off right! Mouth: Ummm, isn't everyone? Beav: Well, I suppose so... [As Crazed and Noah Drakin begin to size one another up in the middle of the ring, the official motions for the bell to be rang. Crazed grins lightly as he lunges towards his opponent, but as Drakin steps back, Crazed laughs and shakes his head some. Drakin lets out a low growl and shoves Crazed away from him. Crazed steps back once his head turning to the side, then he shoves Drakin back, Drakin doesn't even move a step back.
[WINNER VIA PINFALL: ADAM JAMES]
–Who I Am–
[We're in the back of the arena at 'The Salt Palace' only a few minutes before the main event. Ryu Nakajima, Krista Lewis, and Double$s have all prepared to make their way to the ring, but we have yet to see Theo Mavarelli even make a move out of his dressing room, so the CWC staff has sent a camera man back to check things out. Within a few seconds, we're standing outside the locker room that has 'Heretic' written on the door. The camera man knocks a few times and the door just eases open. At first glance, no one is there to be seen or heard, the room is completely black. So the camera man turns the light on his camera on and looks around carefully, until finally, standing there in the darkness, glaring into the mirror at his own reflection, we see Theo 'Heretic' Mavarelli. Once he notices the light, he turns back at the camera then back into the mirror.]
"So I've turned into a character..."
[He hits a light switch, revealing that he is not wearing his cloak as usual, nor a pair of leather pants. Instead, he's in a pair of knee-length 'MMA' style shorts.]
"Ryu Nakajima told me he wanted the straight-shooting Theo Mavarelli to come to the ring. So I thought about it for the past two days on how to prove to this man that I'm not a character, nor was I ever a character. The sacrifices I've made in the ring can't be ignored because of my liking to the darkness, or my desire to wear a cloak to cover the scars of my body. To hide my face from society...I do what I do by choice, not to impress anyone."
[Theo cracks his neck and pulls a roll of athletic tape from a duffel bag near by. He begins to wrap his fingers.]
"I can promise you something about tonight Ryu...you're in for a world of hurt and suffering. You wanted me to bring my best to the ring...well I do that every time I step into that squared circle. But this week, you're going to get something far beyond what you have ever seen before. There's not going to be any turning back once that bell rings, and you like to say I win my matches before the first bell even rings. Well, this week will be no different. Ryu, the things you said to me have irked my all week. And now the time has come..."
[He finishes up wrapping his fingers and then wraps up his wrists. His monotone face turns into that demonic grin that he's so famous for.]
"This is my time to shine...not your's. I am the one who took two years off...I'm the one who has come back to fulfill my dynasty. Ryu...Krista...prepare yourselves for disruption! Preapre to be thrown into your FINAL DESCENT!"
[He starts to laugh a bit.]
"Don't even play my music when I come out...you wanted straight-shooting, then that's what you're going to get. It's time to see a side of me that the wrestling community has never seen."
[The CWC camera man starts to back away from Theo and out of the room. The scene then cuts to black as we get ready to go back up front for the main event.]
--Tournament Match - Round 1 - Jackson vs. The Demon–
Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen this is a first round match in the CWC Double Shot Title Tournament…introducing first… [The lights in the arena go completely out, a power outage of sorts... Reddish lights soon strobe from underneath the ring apron, as "Enemy" by Disturbed begins to play to some big crowd heat. About fifteen or twenty second into the song, as the lights remain dim, the red lights suddenly go out, and ALL the pyro and fireworks pour out, in a flash, as The Demon stands in the centre of the ring... At his feet, a pentagram rotates, illuminating The Demon and the ring area in a dark red glow... He raises his arms skyward, as the lights regain their normal illumination.] Cassandra: …from Hell, Michigan…weighing 256 pounds…The Demon. Beav: Last week we saw Demon on the winning team when he and Kirsta Lewis defeated Jackson and Georgie Nickles in that controversial tag team contest. The C.O.D made an impact last week, can Demon keep that momentum going by defeating the bookies favourite for this tournament Jackson? Mouth: Controversial? I don’t know about that. Tyler Boyd noticed the referee was out and that someone needed to take control and count the fall. Can you imagine Demon as the first CWC World Champion? Now there’s a poster boy you can really build a company around! Cassandra: And his opponent… [The lights dim, heavy mist filling the ramp as strobe lights begin to pulse slowly. A steady bass throb begins, growing in volume, sounding much like a heartbeat to a huge crowd pop! A single gunshot shatters the silence, followed by mocking laughter and Jackson's voice hurling insults before the music skips, and then the sounds of 'Lies' by Evanescence filters through the speakers. Dark red strobes pulsate on the entranceway, and a dark figure moves among them, stepping forward as indigo fountains of pyrotechnic spark either side of him. He strides forwards, ignoring the crowd reaction. He circles the ring once, his eyes steady, a look of angry concentration on his face, before ascending the ring steps and climbing between the ropes. Jackson stands in the middle of the ring, his head thrown back in a triumphant roar as the music comes to a grinding halt, cut off with a squeal of feedback.] Cassandra: from Chicago, Illinois…weighing 280 pounds…Jackson! Beav: The crowd favourite and the man who has done it all in the wrestling business! Jackson is out here and he looks ready to gain some revenge on Demon here tonight. Mouth: I hate this guy, I really do. He’s got the fan support, he’s got the hot girlfriend, he’s got the wrestling skill. I mean come on, give someone else a chance man! I hope Demon knocks that smirk right off his face! [The crowd roar as the bell sounds and Jackson sprints across the ring at Demon! The two big men start trading huge right hands as the crowd go nuts! Jackson gets the advantage and smacks Demon in the mouth a few times, backing him against the ropes. He steps back then charges with a clothesline that sends Demon backwards over the top rope and to the floor! The crowd pop as Jackson goes right after Demon on the outside, nailing him with right hands before whipping him into the steel guard rail! He rolls Demon back into the ring and stomps away at him before picking him up and whipping him into the corner. Jackson charges but Demon nails him with an elbow strike. Jackson staggers back and Demon charges with a clothesline, but Jackson ducks and then drills Demon with a hangman’s neckbreaker! He makes the first cover of the match] ONE… TWO… [Demon rolls his shoulder up in time! The crowd are right behind Jackson as he whips Demon towards the ropes and then flattens him on the return with a big flying shoulder tackle! Jackson nails an elbow drop, then another and a third for good measure before making the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Demon kicks out again as the crowd boo. Jackson brings the big man to his feet and whips him off the ropes. Jackson ducks his head for a back drop, but Demon puts on the breaks, kicks Jackson in the chest and then flattens him with a huge running lariat. The crowd heat is intense as Demon dives on Jackson and starts viciously choking him out as the referee makes his count.] Beav: It’s just as we thought, an intense and hard hitting opening few moments, it looked like Jackson was in total control, but never count out The Demon! Mouth: Yeah Jackson got a little too confident there if you ask me. [Demon breaks the choke before the referee gets to five and then goes right back to choking Jackson out again! He then brings him to his feet and nails some chops to the chest and some forearm shots to the side of the head before whipping Jackson off the ropes and sending him into the mat with a nice spinning powerslam! He makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Jackson kicks out to a good crowd pop but Demon stays on him, stomping him into the mat again before bringing him to his feet and ramming his head into the turnbuckles! The crowd boo as Demon chokes Jackson in the corner with his boot before whipping him into the opposite corner and scoring with a big running splash! Jackson looks in trouble as Demon slams him near the corner and then nails a big knee drop before hooking Jackson in a painful looking camel clutch! The crowd boo as Demon rakes Jackson’s face, pulls on his mouth and nose as the referee reprimands him. Demon laughs before sitting back on the hold as Jackson looks in real pain!] Beav: He may be a monster but this is good strategy from Demon, softening up the back of Jackson and taking all his energy. Mouth: Looks like madness really does know how to wrestle! [Demon keeps the hold locked in for a few more moments before breaking it off and stamping on Jackson’s back. He heaves him to his feet and hits a back breaker before nailing a side slam and making the cover on Jackson.] ONE… TWO… [Jackson kicks out to a big crowd pop! Demon quickly drives some hard knee shots into Jackson’s back before bringing him to his feet and whipping him hard into the turnbuckles. Jackson rebounds out the corner and Demon nails him with a big running boot to the face! He makes the cover again.] ONE… TWO… [Jackson just rolls his shoulder off the mat in time! Demon stays on him with punches to the back before hitting another big back breaker. He drags Jackson into the corner and then under the bottom turnbuckle. The crowd boo as Demon jams Jackson’s back against the corner post and then slides out the ring, before grabbing Jackson’s legs and then his head and bending him backwards around the ring post!! The crowd are booing as the referee counts Demon and he breaks the painful hold three times before dragging Jackson out the ring. Demon drags the steel ring steps out from their position and then lifts Jackson up in a back suplex position. The crowd all boo as Demon drops Jackson back first onto the steel ring steps with a sickening thud! Demon laughs as he gets to his feet and then rolls back into the ring and tells the referee to start the count out. He goes to the corner and trash talks some fans as Jackson lays on the outside clutching his back and the referee starts the count.] Beav: Oh that was one sick and painful looking move by Demon, dropping Jackson’s already injured back onto the steps like that! Mouth: And now he’s just sitting back and letting the referee make his count, smart wrestling again from Demon. A count out is a still a win and he’ll still advance in the tournament! [The referee’s count is at 6 as Jackson rolls off the ring steps and lays face down on the ground. The crowd are cheering him on as he slowly crawls towards the ring. With the count at 8 he grabs the ring apron and tries to haul himself up into the ring, but his back is too painful and he falls back down to the floor!! The crowd gasps but with the count at 9 Jackson let’s at a yell and somehow pulls himself into the ring right before the count hits ten! The crowd pop is huge and Demon can’t believe it!] Beav: Now that is what you call heart and determination folks! I thought Demon had this match won for sure but Jackson just gets back into the ring before the ten count! Mouth: I’m sure that was a slow count! [Jackson can’t stand as Demon brings him to his feet and nails some forearm shots to the head before going for a German suplex, standing switch by Jackson, he goes for the German but his back is too hurt! Demon spins around and goes for a lariat but Jackson ducks and then hits a boot to the gut and then a big DDT on Demon and both men are down!! The crowd are going nuts as the referee starts the count on both men. At the count of 7 Jackson slowly starts to get to his feet. Demon is groggy but he is up with the count at 9! Demon charges, but Jackson moves, Demon hits the ropes and then Jackson nails him in mid ring with a huge spear! The crowd pop big as Jackson makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Demon just kicks out in time!! Jackson stays on the offensive, bringing Demon to his feet and somehow nailing a big release German suplex! He makes the cover again.] ONE… TWO… [Demon again just kicks out in time! Jackson is up and clutching his bad back but he is running on pure adrenaline! He brings Demon to his feet and hits some hard punches to the face before whipping the big man off the ropes and then scoring on the return with a huge spinebuster!! He makes the cover on Demon again.] ONE… TWO… [Again Demon just kicks out in time! Jackson is looking all fired up as he heaves Demon up and whips him into the corner before charging and nailing a big running Mafia kick to the face! With Demon stunned Jackson lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle! Again he clutches at his back but he climbs the turnbuckles slowly. He hooks Demon up for a superplex but the big man blocks it with some shots to the ribs. The crowd roar as Jackson fires back with rapid head butts to the face of Demon! He goes for the superplex again, but Demon stops him with a low blow!! The crowd heat is intense as Demon recovers, before lifting Jackson up in a back breaker position and then nailing him with a huge second rope back breaker!! The crowd can’t believe it as Demon slowly make the cover on Jackson.] ONE… TWO… THR… [NO! Jackson get his foot on the bottom rope stopping the count to a massive crowd pop!] Beav: My God, Jackson gets his foot on the rope in the nick of time! Folks this shows how much this tournament means to both these men, what a match! Mouth: That had to be it, come on! He’s signalling for the finish! [Demon gets up and stares in disbelief at Jackson before signalling for The Demon Juice. The crowd heat is intense as Demon brings the lifeless Jackson to his feet. Jackson looks to be out on his feet as Demon goes for The Demon Juice, but Jackson is able to block it, he quickly hits the Ego Trip before bringing Demon to his feet and planting him with Something Wicked to a big crowd pop. He collapses onto Demon and makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… THREE… [The crowd huge as Jackson pins Demon and advances in the tournament! He struggles to his feet, still clutching at his back as the crowd cheer him on.]
[WINNERS VIA PINFALL: JACKSON]
–RUN!–
[Noah Drakin’s chest is moving in and out rapidly as he walks through a long corridor backstage. After the fight that he was just in, it’s no wonder that he is tired, and he is breathing heavy. As he walks he sees a few road agents and says hello, shaking their hands as he walks.]
–Main Event – Tournament Round 2 Preview Match– Ryu Nakajima & Kirsta Lewis vs. Theo Mavarelli & Double$s--
Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is our main event of the evening! [The crowd pops] [The PA system goes silent as the lights flicker out in the arena. The aisle way is filled with a red glow and out from behind the curtain steps Theo 'Heretic' Mavarelli. He looks out of his element as he walks out of the back with no cloak on and no music. He looks around and stretches out his arms. He's wearing the pair of black shorts that have various things written on them, including 'Tapout' logos and then 'Mavarelli' written on the back in red. His fingers and wrists are taped up in the typical fighter style. He then makes a sprint to the ring and slides underneath the bottom ropes. As the lights go back to normal, Theo hops up on the top turnbuckle and waits for the match to get underway with no expression on his face. It's strictly business tonight.] Beav: Well this is definitely different for Mavarelli! Mouth: He said it was all about business tonight! [“Hell Song by Sum 41 hits the sound system as the lights begin to flicker & then go completely out. The crowd goes silent, as the big screen lights up & then darkens & then lights up rapidly going from dark to light over & over again. Then it stops & all you can see in black cloud & black letters “Enter The Darkness” appears on the screen. The crowd becomes rowdy with boos & cheers as a figure stands in front of the entranceway. The lights come back at as a man in black clothing, balled head & black glasses runs down towards the ringside area. He slides into the ring & heads towards the far corner where Mavarelli is, glances at him, but doesn’t say a word.] Beav: You’ve got to wonder how the teamwork is going to be on BOTH sides of this match this week! Mouth: I don’t have to wonder. It’s going to suck. [The arena lights go down as "Animal" by Nickleback pipes though the arena's PA system. There is a loud thundering roar as a huge Harley appears at the entrance. It stops as its engine roars even louder. Kirsta Lewis appears dressed all in black leather and a motorcycle helmet, covering her head. As the music stops, the engine roars and she rides the bike down to the ringside area. Circling the ring three times before it stops and is turned off. Kirsta slides off the bike and pushes the kick stand down. Looking around the arena and walking over to the ring steps, mounting them slowly sliding though the ring ropes and standing there, staring across at Mavarelli and Double$s, the latter of which shoots her a dirty look and takes a step towards her, but the referee cuts him off.] Beav: It’s obvious that Double$s hasn’t forgotten that Hell’s Bitch Kick he took last week! Mouth: It’s kind of hard to forget when someone nearly takes your head clean off! [The opening strings of “Getting High” by Ian Brown ring out around the arena and the crowd instinctively give a negative reaction as the lights dim down. The big screen provides the only light, and shows Ryu Nakajima stading in an empty room wearing a suit and shades. The camera zooms in slowly until just after the guitars kick in, when it switches to a montage of him in action. A burst of red pyros bit the house lights back up as we see Ryu Nakajima standing in the centre of the entryway, wearing a long white silk coat over his ring attire of red wrestling pants with silver flashes.] Beav: Well all four competitors are in the ring now...and next week, we’re going to see Kirsta Lewis take on Double$s and Ryu Nakajima take on Theo Mavarelli in second round tournament matches! Mouth: There are MAJOR “in your head” implications in this one! Beav: That’s for durn sure! The two on the winning team tonight will have some definite momentum going into next week! [The ref calls for the bell, as Ryu Nakajima and Double$s are in the ring to start the match. They quickly lock up collar and elbow, and Double$s quickly breaks it off and shoves Nakajima in the chest. Nakajima, caught off guard, takes a second before narrowing his eyes, stepping forward, and shoving Double$s back in the chest - hard enough to knock him down to the mat.] Mouth: This thing’s getting personal already...I LIKE IT! [Double$s pops right back up to his feet and charges Nakajima, picking him up and slamming him down hard to the mat, landing on top of him in a mount position, and begins to hammer him with a flurry of punches. Nakajima manages to roll him over though, and responds with a flurry of punches of his own. Double$s finally manages to push him away enough to roll out from under him and pop back to his feet, as does Nakajima, and both men come up with their fists cocked back but freeze when they see the other, glaring at each other with scowls.] Beav: A pretty even exchange between these two to start it off! [Nakajima goes to tie up again, but Double$s side steps him and shoves him into a neutral corner chest first, and then rolls him up from behind for a quick pinfall attempt.] ONE!!! Kickout! Mouth: Trying to get a quick win! Not a bad move! Beav: Not bad, but didn’t work! Nakajima’s proven to be a much tougher competitor than someone who might get caught by a move like that! Mouth: You’re such a suck up... Beav: Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Mouth: I don’t suck up to ANYONE! Beav: Then what do you call your little love-fest with Tyler Boyd last week? Mouth: .........that’s different! [Both men are once again back to their feet, and now Double$s is pointing over to Kirsta Lewis in the corner, telling Nakajima he wants her in the ring, symbolically rubbing his chin. Nakajima glances back at his partner, who has a smirk on her face while giving him a slight nod, and Nakajima slowly backs his way into his corner, not taking his eyes off of Double$s, and reaches back to tag in Kirsta Lewis.] Beav: Well Double$s obviously wants to extract some revenge on The Hell Cat, and he’s going to get his chance right now! Mouth: He’d better watch it! Ty might be around here! Beav: It’s not like they’re dating, Mouth! Tyler’s with Natalia! Mouth: OPEN YOUR EYES, FARM BOY!!! IT’S BLATANTLY OBVIOUS TO EVERYONE THAT BOYD’S MAKING A CERTAIN CAT PURR AT NIGHT! Beav: Oh come on now...Tyler Boyd may be a lot of things, but he’s no cheater! Mouth: Were you even WATCHING last week? Or were you too busy stuffing popcorn down your throat! Beav: I didn’t have any popcorn last week...my doctor says the sodium content isn’t good for... Mouth: You really are that sheltered, aren’t you? [Kirsta steps into the ring and glares across at Double$s, circling around him. He doesn’t feel like waiting, however, and charges in at her with a clothesline. She ducks it though, turns around, and catches him with a boot to the stomach, and follows it up with a European Uppercut and a knife edged chop across the chest before backing him into the ropes to shove him off with an Irish Whip. Double$s reverses it though and it’s Kirsta who’s sent for the ride. She comes back with an attempt at a flying cross body press, but she’s caught in mid air, and Double$s doesn’t waste any time in dropping down to a knee and hitting a back breaker. He holds her across his leg though, putting pressure on both sides of her torso, really bending her back.] Beav: A heady move by Double$s, as he goes right to work on the back of Kirsta Lewis! Mouth: Ty’s not going to like this... Beav: Mouth, they’re NOT dating! Natalia was HERE with him last week! Even if he WAS cheating, do you think he’d bring his current girlfriend around the one he’s being unfaithful with? Mouth: You really have no idea how the male mind works, do you? Beav: All I know is that I would have never cheated on my dear, sweet Vera, may she rest in peace. So forgive me if I’m not up on the basics of adultery! [Double$s picks her back up as he returns to a vertical base, and swings her up and onto his shoulder with her legs going over his back, and her stomach up against her chest. He backs up towards a corner and then runs out to the center of the ring, slamming her down to the canvas. He quickly hooks the leg for the cover.] ONE!!!
TWO!! Beav: Ryu Nakajima is in quickly to break up the count! Mouth: Phew...THAT was close! [The referee quickly orders Nakajima back to his corner, as Double$s gets up and pulls Kirsta up by the hair, but she quickly hits a low blow while the referee is still trying to get her partner out to the apron, causing Double$s to let go, turn away, and drop to his knees holding his crotch. Kirsta slowly stands back up and tries to stretch out her back for a second, wincing in pain, but then runs off the ropes away from Double$s and comes back with a dropkick right to the back of the head, knocking him face first into the canvas. She gets back up and grabs him by the ankle, dragging him to the middle of the ring, and quickly puts him into a single leg Boston crab. Double$s yells out in pain initially, but quickly is able to start pulling himself towards his corner, where Theo Mavarelli is yelling at him to make the tag with his arm stretched out. Kirsta’s trying her best to hold him, but Double$s is making progress, getting very close....] Beav: And he’s got the tag! Mouth: Uh oh... [Theo Mavarelli’s in the ring fast, leveling Kirsta with a clothesline, and then quickly charging the far corner, nailing Nakajima with a forearm that knocks him off the apron and down to the floor. Kirsta’s back to her feet, and Mavarelli turns around and sees her. She tries to throw a punch, but he blocks it, hooks his arm under hers, picks her up and slams her down, applying a lateral press for the pin attempt.] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THR... Shoulder up! Beav: Somehow Kirsta got her shoulder up just in time! Mouth: She’s one tough broad! Ty sure knows how to pick ‘em! Beav: Would you STOP being a rumor monger, Mouth?!? Mouth: I’m not a rumor monger...I’M A REALIST! GET WITH THE PROGRAM, TUBBY! [Theo gets back to his feet and pulls Kirsta up, hooking her up in a front facelock and hitting a vertical suplex. He gets back up quickly, pulls her up again, and whips her hard into the corner, causing Kirsta’s already sore back to slam hard into the turnbuckles, causing her to fall into a sitting position in the corner. Theo charges in at her, and damn near takes her head off with a big knee to the temple. Kirsta looks to be almost out of it, as Theo looks down at her with an all-business type look. Grabbing her by the feet, he pulls her out to the center of the ring, and then pulls her feet up, holding her upside down with her facing away, and rolls down and onto his back, slinging her face first into the opposite turnbuckle. Kirsta crumples down to the mat as Mavarelli slowly gets back up and yells something about “Is this serious enough for you?” to Nakajima, who’s back up on the apron in the corner. He walks over to Kirsta, pulls her up, and whips her back across the ring into the turnbuckles. He charges in at her again, but this time she gets her feet up and he runs face first right into them.] Beav: Kirsta Lewis showing signs of life after a brutal assault from Mavarelli! Mouth: That’s it, Kirsta! [Theo is turned away from the kicks, as Kirsta tries to catch her breath. She then props herself up into a sitting position on the top turnbuckle, watching Mavarelli, with her feet on the middle ropes below her. As Theo turns back around, she takes to the air and catches him in a hurricurana, and then rolls away from him trying to recuperate a bit. Theo’s a bit dazed, but he sits up quickly, as Nakajima’s trying to encourage Kirsta to get to him and tag him in. Kirsta looks up and slowly starts to crawl her way there, as Mavarelli slowly gets to his feet and sees her making her way towards her partner. Just as she’s within inches of getting the tag, he pulls her away by the feet. Kirsta manages to roll over to her back and kick him in the stomach though, sending him stumbling back, and then quickly lunges back towards her corner, making the tag to Ryu.] Mouth: Ryu’s in! [Nakajima storms into the ring and quickly goes on the assault, hammering Theo Mavarelli back into the corner. Lowering his shoulder, he jams it into Heretic’s rib cage twice before scooping him up onto his shoulders and drops backwards for a fallaway slam. He quickly rolls over and hooks the leg for the cover.] ONE!!!
TWO!!! Double$s in to break it up! Mouth: REF! GET HIM OUT OF THERE! Beav: You weren’t yelling about that when Nakajima saved the pinfall for Kirsta earlier! Mouth: That’s because she’s hot! She deserves to be saved! Beav: Oh lord... [Nakajima quickly gets up and signals to Kirsta, who puts her foot up on the top rope. He nails Double$s with a few hard punches before grabbing him by the back of the head, leads him towards Kirsta in the corner, and slams his face right into the bottom of her boot. He then leads him back across the ring and throws him out of the ring and down to the floor. When he turns back around, Theo’s on his feet and throws a punch, but Ryu blocks and catches Theo with a knee to the stomach, hooks him up in a front face lock, and hits a quick DDT. Getting back to his feet, Nakajima pulls Mavarelli back up again and rocks him with another hard punch, but Mavarelli fights back with a head butt that catches Nakajima completely off guard. Taking advantage of the stunned Nakajima, Heretic hooks him up quickly and hits a swinging neckbreaker. He pulls Ryu back up again, and sees that Double$s is back up on the apron, tags him in, and then puts Nakajima in an abdominal stretch. Double$s is in the ring and fires a hard shot right into the solar plexis of Nakajima, and Ryu falls to the mat.] Beav: Now we’re seeing some good teamwork out of Double$s and Mavarelli! This match has been back and forth from the beginning! Mouth: Well like we said earlier...there’s huge momentum implications in this one heading into next week! All four of them still have the possibility of the shortest path to the title! [Double$s pulls Nakajima up and isolates him in his and Mavarelli’s corner, delivering a series of kicks to the midsection. He finally takes him out of the corner with a snapmare, and follows it up with a stiff kick to the lower back. Not wasting any time, he pulls Nakajima back to his feet and whips him off the ropes, but doesn’t see that Kirsta got the blind tag. Nakajima comes back and Double$s turns him over with a big powerslam. He gets back to his feet, turns around and is met with a Hells Bitch Kick. She drops down for the cover.] ONE!!!
TWO!!! Beav: Theo’s in the ring! THREE!!! Mouth: HA!!! NAKAJIMA GRABBED THEO BY THE ANKLE AND STOPPED HIM FROM BREAKING THE COUNT!!! Beav: Kirsta Lewis and Ryu Nakajima pick up the big tag team victory! [“Animals” by Nickelback reprises, as Kirsta simply rolls out of the ring, holding her back, and starts making her way up the ramp, as Nakajima jumps out of the ring shortly after her. Theo’s staring down Nakajima, as Double$s is trying to sit up, as we cut to the backstage area.]
[WINNERS VIA PINFALL: RYU NAKAJIMA & KIRSTA LEWIS]
–The End...Literally...--
[Slowly, the scene begins to open up inside the darkened locker room of Peter Lenex. Like usual, he is sitting still, on a steel folding chair, wearing all black, topped off by his black trademark trench coat. His face is void of any emotion, feeling, or display of affection. His grey eyes pierce forward like stones.] |
