CWC Presents [The CWC logo flashes on and off the black screen in a matter of seconds, when in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, it reads “Last Week.” We then fade in to a black and white shot of Kirsta in the back talking to someone just out of view around a corner in a hallway.] Man: That was some nice work out there, girly. I told you not to worry about Watkins. Kirsta: I know babe...it’s just been tough with dropping my first two matches here. Tonight felt good. Did you see what happened before the match though? Man: I did...happened just like you said it would. It’s too bad I can’t be out there to be a part of it. [Kirsta gives a bit of a sarcastic puppy dog face.] [We cut ahead to Kirsta running into Bryan Baxman.] Baxman: Was that who I think it was? [Kirsta gets up close to him with a big grin.] Kirsta: Well I don’t just kiss anyone...what type of girl do you take me for? [Baxman shifts a little bit and puts his hands on his hips.] Baxman: What was he doing here? Kirsta: What? My man’s not allowed to visit me at work? Baxman: Your “man?” I thought he was already spoken for... Kirsta: That’s just a formality that will be taken care of shortly...he knows where the good stuff is. Baxman: I see. He didn’t want to see me? Kirsta: A little jealous, are we? And just WHY would he want to see you? [As Kirsta’s last words linger in an echo, we cut to a live shot in back the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Center in Tempe, Arizona, where a long black stretch limo slowly pulls in and rolls to a stop. The chauffer steps out of the driver’s side door and walks down the length of the vehicle and opens the rear door. After a few seconds, wearing a dark grey pinstriped Armani suit with no tie and the top couple of button of his starched white shirt undone, “The Main Attraction” Tyler Boyd steps out of the vehicle and looks around.] Boyd: Been a while since I’ve been in Arizona... [Looking back into the vehicle, he reaches his hand back in towards the door, and a hand obviously belonging to a female reaches out and takes it. He helps her out of the vehicle, and we see that it’s none other than his girlfriend of over a year and a half, Natalia, wearing a pair of low riding jeans and a little halter top with her long brown hair pulled back into a ponytail.] Natalia: I used to live here, babe...it’s fine this time of year, but during the summer it just gets unbearable. Boyd: Well, luckily we don’t have to stay until summer. Come on, let’s get this over with... [The chauffer closes the door as the couple heads towards the building. They stop at the rear entrance to the building where a man wearing a “CWC Staff” shirt is standing with a clipboard.] Boyd: Is Baxman here yet? Staff Member: Yes Mr. Boyd, he’s in his office. [Boyd doesn’t even thank him, but rather just opens the door for Natalia and the two disappear into the building.]
–Start the Show-- [We cut to the opening Whiplash montage, as the opening electronic tones of Linkin Park’s “Points of Authority” begin to play, while we see flashes of the faces of various CWC wrestlers. Once the heavy guitar riff kicks in, we go through a quick action sequence before the “Whiplash” logo flashes all over the screen, and finally settles in the center as the music cuts out, and we move to inside of the Wells Fargo Center in Tempe, Arizona. The building’s packed with fans who are all on their feet holding up signs such as “SHOW ME WHAT YOU’RE PACKING, NOAH!”, “JAX MAY BE A DARK HORSE, BUT I’M HUNG LIKE ONE GEORGIE!”, and “SIGN “TMA,” BAXMAN!” The camera finally cuts to the ringside commentator’s table, where we find Hal “The Beav” Cleaver and Mikey “The Mouth” Munson wearing similar CWC polo shirts. Beav’s hair is combed in the usual schoolboy fashion, as Mouth has his New York Yankee’s cap turned backwards with his long hair tucked under the hat and behind his ears.] Beav: Live in front of 4700 fans, The Wells Fargo Center is sold out for our Fourth Edition of CWC’s “Whiplash!” Mouth: Of COURSE it’s sold out! TY’S HERE!!! DID YOU SEE, BEAV? DID YOU?!?!? I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!! Beav: I swear if I didn’t know you better, Mouth, I’d wonder if you hung out in the Castro when it comes to your obsession with the former Stud Stable members. Mouth: It has NOTHING to do with being GAY, fat ass! HE’S “THE MAIN ATTRACTION!” AND HE’S HERE TONIGHT! Beav: Well that brings up one heckuva question....WHY is he here? Mouth: He doesn’t NEED a reason! And did you see? HE BROUGHT NATALIA! Beav: Of course he did, Mouth! Those two are inseparable! Mouth: Can you BLAME HIM? I’d want to be inseparable from a girl like that too! Beav: [chuckles] Keep dreamin’, ol’ buddy! Well besides the excitement surrounding Tyler Boyd’s appearance tonight, we’ve got two of the young stars of CWC in the main event tonight, competing for the final spot in the tournament! Both men had qualified, but apparently there was some sort of “computer error” that wasn’t caught until after last week’s Whiplash went off the air! I told you that those durn machines just can’t be trusted... Mouth: Whatever idiot screwed THAT one up should be fired... Beav: We’ve also got one barn burner of a tag team match, a steel cage match between two men that were tag team partners just two weeks ago, and the CWC debut of former PWX Next Generation and Hybrid Champion, Ness! Mouth: That guy’s weird. I didn’t like him when we worked for PWX...all three weeks... Beav: There’s plenty of action on tap for tonight, folks! Grab your popcorn and settle in to your armchair! Whiplash is on the air!
–Match - Welcome to CWC - Ness vs. Chris Griffin vs. “The Grandslam” Tony Franco– Cassandra: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Welcome to CWC match. Introducing first, from Philadelphia, PA, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is Chris Griffin. he Opening chords to Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad by Bless the Fall hits the PA system as an array of black and white lights illuminate the jammed pack arena. As the fans realize who is coming out they instantly begin a chorus of boo's as Chris Griffin steps out from behind the curtain and throws his hand up in the air-as if he were some sort of God amongst men. "You scream "Don't Look!" " "You scream "Dont Touch!" " Chris then hops into the ring and begins bouncing off the ropes. "What have they done? " "What have I not?" Finally the lights completely shut off in the arena as Chris stands in the center of the ring "And everytime I hear your voice I..." "START TO TREMBLE" The arena becomes flooded with the booming sounds of the song as the lights slowly begin to come back on. "Fear him. He is... Chris Griffin." Booms out a dark voice as the lights are finally back to normal and a confidant Chris Griffin awaits the match to begin. Mouth: I don’t know about you Beve’ but Griffin has failed to impress me lately. Beav: He’s going to have to have a great showing here in order to win back the fans, managements, and my own respect for him. Cassandra: And his opponent, weighing in at 255 pounds, he is The Grandslam" Tony Franco. The song "Set the Speed" by Dixie Witch blares loudly on the CWC PA system, the crowd erupts into jeers as Tony "The Grandslam" Franco walks through the tunnel. Franco wearing his old Detroit Tigers baseball cap, Tigers uniform unbuttoned to reveal his six pack abs, and black wrestling trunks with the Detroit Tigers logo on each leg. In his hands is a black wooden baseball bat as he walks up the ramp he pauses and does a practice swing in the air. He then slides into the ring and flips off all the fans as he waits for the match to begin. Beav: I don’t think the fans could hate Franco any more then they already do. Mouth: I don’t know, he still is flipping them off. Cassandra: And finally, he comes from San Diego, CA, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is Ness! The lights go off as the opening notes of "Terra in Black" is played across the arena. As soon as the trumpets finish their blaring, white pyro bursts from the stage as Ness makes his way toward the ring. Not going for any kind of flashy entrance, he walks his way toward the ring and enters the bottom rope. He extends his hand in the air as a mixed reaction is heard from the crowd. Ness then looks toward the entrance as the music fades. Beav: While Ness might be new here in CWC, he certainly has built up quite a resume over the past few years. Mouth: Like him or hate him, Ness’s past is well know and many of the fans respect him for it. All three men are now in the middle of the ring. Ding, Ding, Ding. The bell rings and all the superstars look around the ring, waiting for each other to make their move. Franco is the first to move as he goes to the middle of the ring and challenges anyone to take their shot at him. Griffin is the first one to accept the challenge and he runs out, only to be given a big boot that takes him off his feet. Ness is next to try his luck as he runs up to Franco and tries to clothesline him, but Franco stays on his feet. Ness tries again to clothesline Franco but Franco grabs a hold of him, and throws him into the turnbuckle. Franco looks to pancake Ness into the turnbuckle but Franco misses and Griffin comes out of no where looking for a drop kick. But Franco moves out of the way as Griffin hits the ground hard. Franco gives Griffin a hard kick to the face and follows up with an elbow drop. Both Franco and Ness pick up Griffin and whip him into the turnbuckle. Both Ness and Franco team up and start to send kick after kick to the midsection of Griffin. Beav: What teamwork. Beav: What a shot, Griffin came from no where. Griffin looks at Ness and picks him up and tries to body slams him. But Ness slides up and over his back, kicking Griffin in the midsection and following up with a DDT. Ness starts to send kicks to the head of Franco and then gets on top of him and starts hammering away on his head. After a few shots he sees that Griffin is starting to make his way back up, and he jumps on top of Griffin’s back and starts choking him. Griffin starts moving around trying to shake Ness off. Beav: Griffin can’t get Ness off his back. Mouth: Well he’s going to have to unless he wants to be choked out. Griffin starts getting desperate and starts to ram his back with Ness on it into the turnbuckles. But Ness still hangs on and Griffin drops down to one knee. Ness keeps the hold enforced until Franco comes and hits a big boot to the face on Ness who finally drops his hold is laid out on the ground. Griffin hunches over, holding his neck and trying to breath as Franco grabs him and takes him down with The Brain Buster DDT. Franco goes for the pin on Griffin. One Two Thre….Break! Beav: The Three count is no good, Ness breaks up the count. Mouth: I thought that Franco had it. That would have been a three count if Ness wasn’t there to save the day. Beav: He was so close. The Ref tells Franco of the situation and Franco can’t believe it. He starts yelling at the ref telling him the count should have been quicker then it was. He points his finger on the refs chest, visibly threatening the man while still yelling at him. While Franco’s back is turned, Ness comes out of no where with a drop kick to the back of the head, driving both Franco and the ref into the turnbuckles. The ref drops like a bag of potato’s and is visibly in pain. Mouth: That can’t be good. Beav: Who’s going to count the pins now? Franco looks down to see if the Ref is ok, and Griffin gets behind him and attempts a German Suplex. But Franco throws a few elbows to the back of Griffins head and turns around, switching the hold so that he is now behind Griffin and he hits him with a German suplex of his own. Griffin is down on the ground and Franco picks Griffin up by the neck and lifts him up and then drops him back on the ground with a choke slam. Franco looks down at the site of the ring noticing that he is the only one that’s up. He walks over to Ness and picks him up, but Ness has other plans and he hits Franco with a low blow, and then hits him with a tiger driver. Ness goes for the pin but no one is there to count. Ness shakes the ref, but to no avail. Just as he sees Chris Griffin making his way up, Ness stalks his pray, waiting for the perfect moment before he can kick Griffin in the gut, and hit him with the Game Over. The crowd goes crazy as Ness points up to the top rope, and starts to climb the turnbuckle. Once at the top Ness takes off with the Fade to Black, landing right on top of Griffin. By now another ref has run into the ring to count the pin. One Two Three. Beav: And it’s all over. Ness is the winner even after we all thought that Franco had it won after that brain buster DDT he hit on Griffin. Mouth: Yea but Franco put up a hell of a fight. The only disappointing thing in this match was the effort by Chris Griffin. Doesn’t the kid know this is the big leagues now? Ness celebrates in the middle of the ring. [WINNER VIA PINFALL: NESS]
–Is that...? No, it couldn’t be...but it really....my god, it IS!--
[We cut to the back where we find CWC Bryan Baxman sitting in his office. The camera is looking from the opposite side of his desk, as we see the shoulders and back of the head of a rather large man sitting looking across at Baxman.] Baxman: It’s not that I’ve got any real “problem children” yet...but you’ve been involved in this business for a long time, and you know how quickly that can change. I’m not going to be one of those wrestling promoters that waits and acts reactively. [The big man just nods.] Baxman: That’s where you come in. You’d be my right hand...my muscle...and from the looks of it, you’ve got plenty to fit the bill. Man: You won’t have to worry about a thing. I’ll keep ‘em all in line. Baxman: That’s what I like to hear. So here’s what we’re going to do...next week, since I know it’s been a while since you’ve been in the ring, we’ll get you involved in a little “warm up” match next week...both to shake the rust, and to send a warning to the rest of the locker room to let them know exactly what they’re dealing with. Man: Sounds like a plan. [Baxman stands up and extends his hand out, as the big man stands up out of his chair too.] Baxman: Welcome to CWC, Tank. [The camera spins around to show them from the side, where we see it is most definitely former RKW competitor Tank. The two shake hands as we cut back to ringside.]
–Match - Matt Sloan vs. Matthew Murphy–
Beav: My lord, Mouth! Bryan Baxman has brought in TaNK!!! Mouth: That dude looks scary... Beav: Something tells me that’s the idea! He’s going to be working directly under Baxman to help “keep the locker room in line!” Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. First, on his way to the ring... ["In The Clouds" begins to play, with Matt Sloan strutting his way to the stage as the first verse hits, spinning as he hits the ramp, then slapping skin with the fans and dancing his way to the ring.] [He climbs onto the barricade, pumping his fists with the fans to the beat, until he jumps down and slides into the ring, tilting his sunglasses as he climbs the turnbuckle, dancing for the fans.] Cassandra: And his opponent for this evening... ["The Howling" by Within Temptation hits the sound system. As the lyrics actually begin their is a blast of pyro and Matthew makes his way to the ring. He is dressed in a long pair of tights wearing a long black leather jacket that is undone.] Cassandra: Matthew Murphy! [He runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. He stands up smiling and looks around the crowd. They are booing as he takes off his jacket and snickers at the hate being directed to him. [The bell sounds and both men begin moving around the ring. Sloan keeps a cocky grin on as he back peddles, while Murphy looks a bit more serious, slowly closing the gap between the two. With the tie up, Sloan gets the upper hand, forcing Murphy back to the corner. The crowd his hot as the ref forces the two to break contact. As Sloan backs from the corner, Murphy takes the advantage and gouges the eye of Sloan, causing the crowd to show their disapproval.] [Murphy comes out of the corner and sends multiple boots to the lower abdomen of Sloan, doubling him over. Murphy all but takes Sloan's head off with a violent kick to his head. The new comer slumps down into the corner while Murphy, full of anger, begins to stomp away at the back's chest and face with various kicks.] Beav: Murphy has the upper hand hear, but to be honest, it looks like both men have somewhere else to be. [The ref busts in, trying to pull Murphy off of Sloan but Murphy shoves him away, resuming his assault upon the poor Sloan until he finally goes limp. Reaching down, Murphy drags Sloan to his knees by his hair, ignoring the fact that he is utterly limp, and begins to reign right hands down onto his forehead, hammering away until we can see crimson flowing freely down his face.] [A few more right hands rain down onto Sloan's head, leaving his face a literal crimson mask. Only now does Murphy pause, taking a moment to smear turn to the crowd, who responds with resounding boos, before dragging Sloan out to the middle of the ring and making sure he remains standing in place, however limp his body may be, before Murphy steps back, measuring the barely conscious figure of Sloan before stepping forward and locking Sloan into the modified anaconda vice.] Mouth: The Lights Out! Beav: But it looks like Sloan is fighting it off! Beav: The Cover! One Two Kick out! Mouth: Kick out by Sloan. [Sloan gets the shoulder up causing Murphy’s grin to fade and be replaced by a frustrated grimace. He turns to Sloan and begins pummeling him with rights and lefts before grabbing him by the arm and pulling him to the center of the ring.] [Murphy lifts Sloan’s arm, wrapping his legs around his arm and falling back with a Cross Arm breaker. He then lifts his leg, bringing it down across the face of Sloan multiple times. His leg comes down three more times before Sloan finally reaches across his chest and grabs at his other hand. Murphy doesn’t allow it, kicking him in the face again. Sloan throws his feet over his head in a desperate attempt to turn the hold over, releasing some of the pressure on his arm.] Beav: Sloan showing some great ring presence here. [Sloan gets his foot on the ropes forcing Murphy to break the hold once again.] [Sloan gets to his knees as Murphy grabs him by the air. Sloan, out of desperation, connects with a low blow, causing Murphy to double over in pain.] [Sloan once again stumbles to his feet. This time, Murphy sends a boot to the gut and plants Sloan face first into the mat with a sharp angled DDT. Without a moments hesitation, Murphy rolls backward and gets to his feet, looking to the crowd and then heading up to the top rope. As the crowd's boos are nearly deafening, Murphy stands tall up top and leaps from the turnbuckle with a shooting star frog splash.] Beav: The Shooting Star Frog Splash! And My god did he nail it! [He hits his mark perfectly and grabs Sloan's leg to make the cover.] One!
THREE! Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner..... Mathew Murphy!!! [WINNER VIA PINFALL: MATTHEW MURPHY]
–Same Ol’ Ness-- [We go to the back, where we see Ness unlacing his boots. He takes them off, one by one, when suddenly he hears a knock at the door.] Ness: Yeah, come in. [Tiffany Jackson, with microphone in hand, enters the room. She waits patiently as Ness strips off the tape on his wrists. Ness throws the tape to the side, and only then turns his attention to Jackson.] Ness: May I help you? Tiffany: Hi Ness, I wanted to get a few questions out of you concerning you and CWC as a whole. what are your plans? [Ness rolled his eyes, seemingly amused at the very question Tiffany just asked.] Ness: Well it's simple, really. I plan on going to the top and taking that belt off the person who wins the tournament. I think that's the eventual goal for everyone here in this promotion, right? Tiffany: Ah...right. So what are your plans for the short term? You aren't in the tournament or anything. [Ness sighs, apparently growing tired of the questions being asked by the woman.] Ness: I do have my plans. [A brief pause; Tiffany starts to shuffle around in the awkward silence, but then Ness continues to speak.] Ness: You know...I never held the PWX Championship. That was my one, main goal in that promotion for the two years I spent there. And I never got it. It makes me sick to my stomach each day. It's something that I can never let go and wont, because it's so stupid. I was so close so many times..but nothing was ever good enough. [Another awkward pause; Tiffany looks down at her shoes a bit until Ness speaks again.] [Ness turns around and goes back to his locker, leaving Tiffany there stand like an idiot for about a minute.] Ness:...you can go, now. [Tiffany carefully walks out of Ness's locker room as he continues preparing for his exit from the arena.]
–Better Late Than Never?-- [The scene opens up backstage where we see one of those nameless, useless backstage workers doing walking around. Suddenly, they stop, as a figure walks up to them. Unfortunately, we can't see the figures face, only his back. The backstage worker looks at the man, implying he's asking a question.] "Which way to the locker room of Peter Lenex?" [The backstage worker points off down the hall, and this man walks forward and down the hall, the camera constantly at his back, giving us no idea who it is. After a bit, he stops, and knocks on the door.] Voice: Who is it? Man: The Prince. [The door is opened up and there we see Peter Lenex, wearing his ring attire, looking ready to fight.] Lenex: It's about time you got here. Took you an extra week? The Price: You know how the American airlines work. Fuck you all the time. [Lenex smiles, nods, and takes a step to the side, allowing The Prince to enter the room, turning the corner out of view before we can even get a glimpse of who he is. Lenex takes a step forward.] Lenex: Now, it's time to raise the stakes.
–Match - Eric “The Iceman” Sailes vs. Brandon Watkins– Cassandra: This match is scheduled for one fall! First making his way to the ring accompanied by his manager Jessica Bolinger, weighing 235 pounds and standing 6 feet 3 inches – hailing from Phoenix, Arizona he is.. Brandon Watkins!! [The sounds of "Bittersweet Symphony" explode over the PA system, as the lights begin to flash shades of red and gold. Sparks begin to pour from the over hang of the stage, as two figures emerge from behind the curtain. The figures step out, walking through the sparks, and identify themselves as Brandon Watkins and his manager Jessica Bollinger. The couple strikes a pose, as a rather large silver pyro shoots off behind them. The couple then, hand in hand, makes their way down the entrance ramp, and stops at the steel steps leading up into the ring. Brandon holds Jessica's hand as she makes her way up the steps, quickly jumping on the ring apron and holding the ropes open for her. After entering himself, he climbs the far turnbuckle and strikes yet another pose for the fans, patiently awaiting his opponent.] Beav: And listen to this crowd go wild Mouth! This is a state hero for the fine people here at Tempe! Mouth: Hero? Hah right. Cassandra: And his opponent, hailing from Sailes Island in the South Pacific. Weighing in at 275 pounds and standing six feet six inches tall... He is the Iceman...Eric Sailes!! [As "Enemy" hits the load speakers, Sailes walks out to the ramp. The reception is deafening with cheers. He stops at the ramp and strikes an arrogant pose as a purple spotlight hits on him. He walks confidently towards the ring, up the stairs in under the second rope. He pops up on the nearest turnbuckle and strikes his trademark pose. After the entrance music ends, the Iceman and Brandon Watkins begin to size one another up, the official in the ring lays out quite plainly the rules of what he expected in the ring. Watkins nodded his head and then spoke something to the ref. Sailes rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders, folding his arms in front of him after taking a step back]. Mouth: Pft, okay so Watkins is demanding that Sailes be checked for foreign objects? Who does he think he is? Beav: Well Sailes IS considered part of the CoD and it's just prudent to be careful. [The ref moves over and begins to pat down Sailes, checking his boots as well. Sailes then taps the ref on his shoulder and points to Watkins and smirks.] [Watkins shook his head, denying he had any objects. However Iceman persisted in the ring. The fans were tense and getting rather stir crazy from not seeing the match go on. Even chanting “Ring the bell! Ring the bell!” Iceman refused to budge however and motioned to the ref again.] Mouth: What's good for the goose is good for the gander! Iceman isn't moving until Watkins gets checked. Beav: Talk about spoiled people in this profession Mouth. But Watkins DID ask for Sailes to be checked, he should have the same courtesy. [Finally Watkins agrees, with a roll of his eyes. The ref pats him down, finding nothing to be amiss as he then motions for the bell to ring. Watkins was about to say something but Sailes seemed to have other things on his mind as he shoves Watkins and begins to get into his face. His yells are heard over the air, yet what he was saying was muffled. Watkins head canted back, chuckling softly before he stepped up and shoved Sailes. Anger was flaring on both of their faces as Sailes attempted to shove Watkins back, but this time Watkins was prepared for it, and stepped to the side, sending Sailes faltering.] Mouth: What are they doing dancing? Come on already! Beav: It's all about in ring psychology, both are attempting to get under the skin of their opponent. [Turning to attack Watkins – Iceman has no time to react as Watkins was following through quickly with a clothesline that took the larger man down to the mat. Careening to the mat, Sailes wasn't going to be kept down as Watkins kept going for the ropes, bouncing off of the top rope to sail back to the Iceman, but he was already up and waiting for it. Grabbing onto his opponent, he sent him to the mat with a perfectly executed hip toss. While Watkins is down on the canvas Sailes begins to deliver heavy boot stomps to his sternum and sides. Causing Watkins to cringe in pain. Sailes was far from over with his brutal attack as runs backwards towards the ropes to deliver a leg drop, but Watkins rolls to the side, pulling out his foot to trip up Sailes as he telegraphs off of the rope, sending his opponent down and on even ground with himself. Both men push up to their knees at the exact same time, and begin trading a flurry of blows. On the outside – Jessica, Watkins manager, begins pounding on the apron of the ring to cheer him on. The fans begin to follow suit, but as a cup gets tossed into the ring, the ref turns to get rid of it. Sailes takes this moment to gouge his thumb into Watkin's eye, causing Watkins to hold his face. Sailes smirks as he stands up, grabbing hold of Watkins and whips him into the corner. He's hot on his heels as he begins to deliver chop after chop that echoed through the crowd, to Watkins' chest. Before hitting him one last time, he points over to Jessica and grins before going to deliver the last and final chop. Watkins' though dazed ducks out of the way and reverses, pulling Sailes in the corner.] Beav: You know, he... He made ah uh.. definite mistake by grandstanding. Mouth: Bah, he's just toying with Watkins. [After chopping Sailes in the chest, Watkins climbs up onto the second rope and begins to punch Sailes in the face. The crowd counts along with the hits. As they get to four, Sailes shakes his head and wraps his arms around Watkins middle and then puts him onto the side, before taking him down to the mat via a sidewalk slam. He pulls up Watkin's leg getting the cover. The ref slides down. One... Tw – Watkins leg connects with the ropes, causing the ref to stop his count. Sailes growls and pushes himself up, slapping the mat before causing a little bit more damage to Watkins by way of several fists to the head of his opponent. Standing up, Sailes moved to the turnbuckle and undid the padding there, tossing it out to the crowd as the ref is checking on Watkins who is seeing stars at this point. The crowds are fighting over the turnbuckle cover as the Iceman moves over to grab the recovering Watkins and pulls him onto his feet. Whipping Watkins into the now exposed turnbuckle, Sailes seemed to be a man on a mission. As he then charged forward, lowering down to spear Watkins where he was barely standing, Watkins moves at the last moment – sending Sailes shoulder into the steel post as his head is cut open by the exposed rung of the turnbuckle sending him onto the canvas with blood pouring out of his face.] Mouth: Oh...Oh...I.... *The sound of Mouth attempting to cover his mouth is heard as his voice becomes muffled. Beav: Sailes has been cut open! Covering the bloodied man, Watkins didn't seem overly happy about getting this win. The ref slides down, making sure the pin is correct and begins counting.] Beav: It's all over for Sailes, there's no way he can recover after the punishment his body has taken. [His partner is still seemingly quiet. One.... Two... Three!! Cassandra: Here is your winner.... Brandon...Watkins!!! The ref raises Watkins hand as he pushes himself up, and the referee calls for a medic immediately to come check on Sailes.] Beav: Well, hopefully Sailes will be okay, but he looks to be in a bad way right now... Mouth: Just tell me when they’ve taken him out so I can uncover my eyes... [WINNER VIA PINFALL: BRANDON WATKINS]
--Lay Low?!? Yeah Right!-- [Noah Drakin walks into the arena with his black duffel back packed to the brim with his wrestling gear, the strap slightly weighing down his right side. He appears to be limping a little bit as he walks past a few road agents, saying hello as he enters. He walks down a long corridor and enters the first room on his right. As he enter the room, he glances down at his watch.] Noah: *BEEP* I have to get ready for my match. [Noah walks across the room and drops his bag on the bench when suddenly he hears footsteps behind him and the door close. Noah snaps around and puts his fists up ready to fight. There stands Ryu Nakajima, his hands up in defense.] [Noah takes deep breath, relieved to see Ryu instead of anyone else. Noah drops his fists and extends his hand for a hand shake, and Ryu obliges him.] Noah: Sorry about that, man. I had kind of a hectic weekend. Been looking over my shoulder ever since. Ryu: You must have quite the weekend… [Ryu reaches into his back pocket and returns with a newspaper. He tosses it onto the bench and it opens up to the front page. The camera zooms in on it as Noah picks it up. The name on the paper is the “Denver Herald” and the headline on the front page reads, “Local Pro Wrestler Suspected of Murder”. And just below the headline is Noah’s face.] Ryu: What this all about Noah?? I thought you told me you were going straight?? And now your going around killing innocent mail men. [Noah drops the paper back on the bench and looks right at Ryu.] Noah: I didn’t do this Ryu. The guy was *BEEP*ing scalped. That ain’t my style, too mess, and takes to damn long. Ryu: Then why has the FBI been calling me, asking if I had any info on you?? I think they have been asking everyone in the locker room. I am surprised they are not here tonight looking for you. Noah: Don’t you think I know that. This thing has gotten way out of hand. Ryu: Just take off man. Just disappear for a while, lay low. Stay off the radar. [Noah shakes his head as he runs his right hand through his short hair.] Noah: I can’t do that. I have this tournament. I can’t just throw this chance away. Ryu: You can throw it away now, or get caught and lose it for a lifetime. Noah: Have you seen the cops or anybody around here looking for me tonight?? [Ryu shakes his head.] Noah: Well then, I am safe, I can get this match out of the way at least. Then I just have to take it week by week. Ryu: You do what you want to do, I just thought I would give you a heads up on the whole thing. [The two gentlemen shake hands again and Ryu disappears out of the room as the camera zooms in tight on Noah, a feeling of concern hanging in the air.]
–Match - Shane Hahn vs. Theo Mavarelli– Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall... [The lights in the arena go completely out, as the sound of the now familiar heart beat begins to thump throughout the arena. The Jumbo-Tron illuminates with “6 6 6" as the stage glows red and fills with smoke. “How the Gods Kill” begins to blast, and within a few seconds, the cloaked figure of Theo Mavarelli appears at the edge of the stage through the smoke and begins his slow procession down towards the ring as a pentagram encircles the ring. He reaches the ring, climbs the steps, and enters through the ropes. He makes his way to the center of the ring, raises his hands out slowly to this sides, and then whips his head back to remove the hood.] Cassandra: And now in the ring, weighing in at 289 pounds, THEO MAVARELLI! [The lights go back to normal as Theo disrobes from his cloak and tosses it out of the ring. He slowly turns and looks at the crowd, giving them a diabolical smirk.] Cassandra: And his opponent... [“Back in Time” by Huey Lewis and the News plays to a decent crowd pop as Shane Hahn makes his way quickly down the ramp and into the ring.] Cassandra: from Las Vegas, Nevada…weighing 225 pounds…Shane Hahn [The bell rings, and as soon as it does the two exchange a number of blows, with Mavarelli getting the upper hand, whipping Hahn across the ropes then hitting a running knee lift, sending Hahn to the floor. Mavarelli immediately goes for an arm bar submission, but Hahn squirms his way to the nearest bottom rope. Mavarelli waits as Hahn gets up and goes for a clothesline to send him out of the ring, but Hahn counters, moving behind Mavarelli and hitting a back suplex, sending Mavarelli down to the mat. Hahn goes for the cover, but Mavarelli kicks out after one. Hahn gets up, measures Mavarelli, then goes for a running kick to the head, but in quick fashion, Mavarelli ducks and rolls up Hahn for a two count.] Beav: Early pin attempt there [Both get up and exchange some harsh words for a second as the crowd applauds their efforts. Hahn and Mavarelli then grapple in the middle of the ring, with Hahn getting the advantage and hitting a fireman's carry. From there, he grabs Mavarelli and applies a choke hold. Mavarelli, however, rakes the eyes of Hahn after a few seconds, making Hahn release the hold. Mavarelli takes the recoiling Hahn and drops him with a DDT. He then takes Hahn's right arm and continually attacks it, stomping and kicking at the ankle. Hahn writhes in pain as Mavarelli maliciously works on Hahn's injured arm.] [Mavarelli walks over to the corner, and quickly scales the turnbuckles to the top rope. Mavarelli comes off the top rope, slamming Hahn’s head into the canvas with an elbow drop to the back of the man’s head. The crowd is on their feet, chanting for the Shane Hahn as he struggled to get up. Mavarelli lays those educated boots to him as he crawls to the ropes. Hahn pulls his body up using the ropes for leverage as he is getting kicked the entire time. Mavarelli grabs hold of him, and gets an elbow to the face that finally shifts the momentum. Hahn grabs hold of his arm and send him across the ring into the ropes with an Irish whip. Mavarelli comes off the ropes, he is caught by a beautiful stalling drop kick.] Beav: Beautiful drop kick by the 'Tomorrow Hero' Mouth: Is it just me, or does he wish he was Skylar Kelly? Beav: What? What does that pompous kid have to do with it€? Mouth: Well, 'Man of Tomorrow', 'Tomorrow Hero'. Skylar has the superman shield as his logo...probably tattooed somewhere on his genitals... Beav: WHAT?! Mouth: I said probably... [Hahn goes to pick up Mavarelli, but Mavarelli rebounds with a few punches to the face. He kicks Hahn in the stomach, hits the ropes, and delivers a huge scissors kick, planting Hahn in the middle of the ring. Satistfied, Mavarelli starts to climb up to the top rope, and goes for a moonsault, but at the last second Hahn moves, sending Mavarelli crashing to the floor. Hahn gets up, turns around, and hastily makes the cover, but only a two count.] [Hahn goes to pick Mavarelli up once again, but Mavarelli rolls Hahn into a small package but only gets a two count. Hahn immediately gets up, and isnt happy. He hits a stiff kick, knocking Mavarelli out cold. Hahn climbs the top rope, facing the center of the ring he looks out and surveys his surroundings. He gets quite the reaction from the fans as he puts an arm in the air and signals for the shooting star.] Beav: Hahn off the top rope with what he calls the 'Flux Capacitor'! [Taking no more time, he leaps from the turnbuckle, doing a forward moving back flip through the air. As he comes down, somehow, Theo moves out of the way causing Hahn to slam into the unforgiving mat. The crowd groans simultaneously as the sound of flesh against wood, echoes through the arena.] [Taking the advantage presented to him, Theo walks over to Hahn and shakes the cobwebs loose as he lifts him to his feet. Wrapping his arm around Hahn's, Mavarelli sends him barreling toward the turnbuckle and follows him. He lifts Hahn up onto the top rope, facing the crowd and then climbs up facing away from the groggy Hahn.] [Hooking his arms he lifts Hahn onto his back and slowly leans forward sending himself and Hahn crashing into the mat.] [Mavarelli slowly crawls over to the unconscious Hahn and rolls him over, grabbing the leg and making the cover.] Mouth: He's got the shoulders down! One! Two! Three! Beav: It's over!!! Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner.....Theo Mavarelli! Mouth: I still don’t like that guy... Beav: Well he’s definitely not showing many signs of ring rust after a nearly two year layoff! He could be a dark horse in this tournament! [WINNER VIA PINFALL: THEO MAVARELLI]
–A “Chance” Encounter?--
[Back in the locker room area, “The Main Attraction” Tyler Boyd and Natalia are walking down a hallway quietly talking amongst themselves. As they come around a corner, they run right into Kirsta Lewis, who’s stretching out in preparation for her match. She sees the couple and stands up straight, smiling.] Kirsta: Hey Ty...Nat... Boyd: What’s up Kirsta? Kirsta: Just getting ready for Jax and Georgie...Demon and I have our work cut out for us...especially with that idiot Double$s reffing it... Boyd: Should be fun. Nat and I will be out there doing commentary with Beav and Mouth for it, I think...I haven’t seen those guys in about a year. Kirsta: Mouth never shuts up about you... Boyd: [Laughing] Yeah, he’s like that. He’s a good dude, though....just...misunderstood. [Bryan Baxman and TaNK come walking down the hallway and join the conversation.] Baxman: Tyler, glad you could make it. [Boyd looks at him as he reaches out and shakes his hand.] Boyd: Appreciate you having me. Baxman: Have you met TaNK? [Boyd looks at TaNK and sizes him up.] Boyd: Don’t believe I have...but from the look of things, the name’s fitting. [Everyone laughs a bit.] Boyd: Bryan...got a minute? I wanted to talk to you about something... Baxman: Sure, we can talk in my office. [Boyd nods, and he, Baxman and TaNK head off down the hallway, leaving Natalia and Kirsta alone.] Kirsta: So did you manage to get the stains out of your dress? [She gives Natalia an evil smile, as Tyler’s girlfriend glares at her.] Natalia: Don’t try and be cute with me, bitch. I’m getting sick and tired of these games you’re pulling, and if you don’t back the hell off, I’m going to do something about it myself. [Kirsta gets right into Natalia’s face.] Kirsta: Is that so? And just what do you think you’re going to do about it? Natalia: Just trust me...this is your last warning. [Natalia storms off down the hallway, leaving Kirsta laughing to herself with the same evil smile.]
–Match - Steel Cage - Adam “Crazed” James vs. “The God of War” Peter Lenex–
[The Frayed Ends of Sanity by Metallica plays to a big crowd reaction. White and blue lights strobe on the stage, barely playing back light to the figure that stands with his arms down at his sides, and his head hanging low between his shoulders. Suddenly, the music cuts and all that can be heard is whispers that build getting louder and louder, followed by a high pitched shriek. "SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THE VOICES!" The words come over the speakers in a child's frightened voice. Suddenly the music kicks in again and the lights return to normal. The man standing on the stage is still in the same pose, his eyes pointed toward the ring, even though his head is down. The look in his eyes is almost frightening as a smirk slowly builds across his lips. He slowly makes his way to the ring, still keeping his eyes on the ring, looking past his eye brows as his head remains down. He climbs the steps and enters the opened door of the cage, looks around, and makes his way towards the far corner, where he sits on the top turnbuckle and waits.] Cassandra: from Nyack, New York…weighing 243 pounds…Adam ‘Crazed’ James! Beav: He doesn’t seemed phased by the cage at all! Mouth: Of course not! The guy’s a nut job! [The lights dim down as "Ether" by Nothingface begins to play throughout the arena. Smoke begins to pour onto the stage, covering the floor from the entrance to the ringside area. "I'll never hesitate "I know everyoneI've been everywhere The curtains part and the "God of War" himself walks out from the back wearing his black trench coat. He pauses at the top of the ramp, smoke swirling around his legs, before slowly walking down the ramp. He reaches the ring and climbs up the ring steps, slowly stepping into the cage and pacing around in a circle, his eyes showing no response to the crowds boos.] Cassandra: …from Raleigh, North Carolina…weighing 276 pounds…Peter Lenex! Mouth: The crowd’s letting Lenex know what they think about him! [On the outside, a referee shuts the door and locks it with a chain and padlock. The referee on the inside quickly calls for the bell, and Crazed jumps down off of the turnbuckle and takes a few steps towards Lenex. Lenex also takes a few steps in, and before we know it, the two men are face to face, nose to nose, eye to eye, toe to.....you get the point. A good amount of smack talk begins before the two explode into a big exchange of punches, causing the crowd to pop. The bigger Lenex gains the early advantage and backs Crazed up into the ropes, where he unloads a big chop across the chest of Adam James, causing a “HEEEEEEYYYY!!!!!!! to come from the crowd instinctively. He unloads another one, and the crowd again lets out a “HEEEEEYYYY!!!!” Grabbing Crazed for an Irish Whip now, he sends him across the ring, but Crazed hooks his arms over the top rope to stop himself and quickly turns around and steps up onto the ropes to begin climbing the cage, heading for the top. Lenex runs to him quickly and climbs up to the second rope, grabs James by the waistband of his tights, and pulls him down hard, causing him to slam down on his back to the canvas. James jumps right back up as he realizes Lenex is still up there, and seeing that he’s not going to get away, Lenex jumps down attempting a double axehandle, but Crazed side steps him and lands a hard shot right to the midsection before he hits the canvas, causing him to land hard and roll away. Crazed doesn’t back off of him though, following him and pulling him up by the hair.] Beav: You can definitely tell there’s a ton of animosity between these to because of the events from the past few weeks....the intensity in there is heavy! Mouth: And if anyone would, YOU would know about “heavy,” tubby! Beav: I’ve enjoyed my share of good meals in the day! Nothin’ wrong with that! Mouth: No...nothing wrong at all...as long as you don’t mind being a fat ass of a redneck! [With Lenex back to a vertical base, James quickly leads him towards the side of the ring and tries to slam him face first into cage, but Lenex blocks. Crazed tries again, but Lenex blocks with his hands again, this time catching Crazed with an elbow to the jaw. Lenex grabs Crazed now and slams his face into the side of the cage instead! James stumbles away, as Lenex follows him, grabs him and spins him around, picking him up and landing a hard sidewalk slam. Lenex hooks the leg and has the cover.] ONE!!!
TW... Kickout! Mouth: Not even a two count! [Lenex doesn’t dwell on it, as he gets up to his feet quickly and pulls Crazed up to his feet. He grabs him back of the head and starts running with him towards the side of the cage, throwing him up against it and causing Crazed to crash hard into it, opening up a small cut on his forehead and causing him to crash back down to the mat. Lenex pulls him up again and in the same fashion, takes him back in the other direction, once again slamming Crazed hard into the side of the cage, and causing him to crumple back down to the mat again.] Beav: Lenex is starting to take control of this match! Mouth: Thank you, Captain Obvious! [Lenex now heads for the corner, where he climbs the turnbuckles and starts to make his way towards the top of the cage. Crazed pulls himself up with the help of the ropes and sees Lenex on the top ropes reaching up to start climbing the cage, and he quickly pulls down hard on the top rope, putting all of his weight into it, and starts shaking it, causing Lenex to lose his balance and slip off the ropes, ending up in a tree of woe hanging from the ropes by his legs.] Beav: What a smart move by Crazed! Mouth: Did you just use the words “smart” and “Crazed” in the same sentence? Beav: He may be a bit off, Mouth...that doesn’t mean he’s a dummy! [Crazed gets back to his feet as he sees Lenex trying to get himself out of his predicament. Making his way towards his stranded competitor, Crazed charges in and delivers a hard kick right to the solar plexis area. He then circles out towards the center of the ring and charges right back in towards Lenex, this time delivering a knee right to the same spot he just kicked. Glaring down at Lenex, who’s now gasping for air after having the wind knocked out of him from those two hard shots, Crazed begins climbing right next to Lenex, heading for the top of the cage. He’s being very careful about his footing though, as he gets to the top rope first, and then gets a sure footing within the cage itself. Lenex looks up and sees it, and showing unbelievable strength, uses his abdominal muscles to pull himself back up to a sitting position in the corner and pulls himself back to his feet on top of the ropes, and starts climbing as quickly as he can up to the top, and finds himself right next to Crazed, who begins to try and fight him off by kicking and throwing elbows. Lenex locks himself into the side of the cage well though, and throws a hard forearm to the kidney area of Crazed, positions himself next to him, grabs him, and pulls him away from the cage into a side suplex, sending both men crashing down about ten feet to the mat below.] Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beav: DID YOU HEAR THE IMPACT!!! THEY BOTH LANDED WITH A SICKENING THUD! Mouth: I’ve seen better... [Both men are laid out flat in the middle of the ring, and the ref checks on both of them, but realizes there’s not much he can do as far as a ten count goes since it’s a cage match. Lenex begins to finally stir first, leaning up and looking around, seeing Crazed still flat on his back next to him. Rolling over, Lenex slowly gets to his knees, and falls across Crazed for the cover.] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THRE... SHOULDER UP! Beav: ADAM JAMES GOT THE SHOULDER UP! IT HAD TO BE PURE INSTINCT! Mouth: And NOW Lenex is PISSED! [Lenex slams his hand down hard on the mat and glares at the referee, who holds up two fingers and shakes his head. Lenex pulls Crazed back to his feet and lands a few hard punches to the jaw, backing him up into the ropes, and whips him off...but Crazed manages to reverse and it’s Lenex whos sent across the ring. When Lenex gets back to James, the mentally unstable competitor is near the originating ropes where he grabs Lenex and flapjacks him right into the side of the cage, causing him to fall in a heap to the mat afterwards. He pulls Lenex up again and hooks him up in a front facelock, and then jumps up and comes down with a spike DDT. He rolls Lenex over for the cover.] ONE!!!
TWO!!
THRE.... SHOULDER UP! Beav: Now it’s Lenex just beating the count! [Crazed pulls Lenex up again, but Lenex rakes the eyes of Crazed and immediately heads for the ropes and starts climbing as Crazed rubs his eyes and tries to regain his sight. He’s climbing fast however, and by the time Crazed looks up and sees him, Lenex has one hand at the top of the cage, where he’s resting, trying to gather the strength to pull himself up over the top. Crazed literally jumps up onto the side of the cage and is climbing as fast as he can, as Lenex looks down and sees. He tries to pull himself up, but before he can, Crazed grabs Lenex by the ankle, holding him where he’s at. Lenex tries to shake him, but he can’t, and Crazed gets further up the cage with a dangerous lunge toward the top. Lenex, hanging on with only his left hand on the top and his feet in the rungs of the cage, throws right hands that land on top of Crazed’s head, but Crazed still climbs. He reaches the same level as Lenex and with his left hand starts fighting back. He finally blocks a punch from Lenex and grabs him by the back of the head, slamming his face into to top railing of the cage, causing him to sway away again, barely hanging on. Crazed grabs him again, and again slams him face first into the top railing of the cage, and this time, Lenex lets go and free falls down to the canvas below, busted open above his eye. Crazed looks down and pulls himself up to the top of the cage, slinging one leg over the top...and then the other...before climbing down about half way and then dropping to the floor below, where the referee calls for the bell.] Mouth: DAMN! Beav: ADAM JAMES IS OUT! HE WINS!!!! Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match....ADAM “CRAZED” JAMES!!! [Crazed’s music reprises, as he looks back in at Lenex with an angry look. Lenex slowly rolls onto his side and glares at Crazed, as we cut to the back.] [WINNER VIA EXITING THE CAGE: ADAM JAMES]
–Why?-- [Sitting in a deep dark corner somewhere in the Wells Fargo. Double$s with his head pointed towards the ground wonders why he was given such a meaningless task that any ordinary man could do.] Double$s: Why? [Hit’s the wall with his right] Double$s: Why am I the one who has to suffer this indignity? Have I did or said something wrong to incur the CWC bosses raff? [Thinks deep within his own mind trying to come up with an answer. Any answer to try & explain the position that he is in. With frustrations building inside to a boiling point Double$s gets up grabs a chair that’s near him & throws it against the opposite wall denting & bending it all up. He stumbles back against the wall & just leans against it.] Double$s: I am Double$s damn it. I deserve more respect then this. To be reduced to a referee role instead of my regular wrestling role is humiliating. It’s a step back in my career instead of a step forward. It doesn’t help me one damn bit. What really pisses me off is I’ve been here about a month & half & only had two fucking matches. Is it my fault that I have had only two matches. Hell no, it isn’t. It’s the bookers fault. That lazy SOB. I should walk up to him slap him in the face & ask him “Dude, Where’s my fucking matches?”. [Walks into the only light the only light that is filling the hallway. The light shines off the white stripes of the referees shirt. Double$s looks down at the shirt with hatred in his eyes.] Double$s: Stripes just don’t look good on me. This isn’t a proper referees shirt. It should be burned. Anyway, I have a job to do & I need to get to it judging from the sound of the crowd it’s about time. Time to get the show on the road. [The camera fades as Double$s walks down the hall heading towards the ring.]
–But before we continue...we bring you this special announcement– [The lights in the arena go out, causing the crowd to let out a big pop. The opening “chime” sound of the “Numb/Encore” Mash-Up by Linkin Park and Jay-Z begins to blast over the arena’s speakers. The crowd erupts, as Jay-Z’s voice rings out.] Jay-Z: Thank you, thank you…you’re far too kind. [As the opening chorus starts, the lights barely come up to what you could call dim, as a couple of spotlights begin to circle the arena while the stage area fills with fog and glows in a golden color.] Jay-Z/Mike Shinoda: #Can I get an Encore? Chester Bennington: Jay-Z/Mike Shinoda: Mike Shinoda: #Get ‘em Jay… [As the first verse hits, a spotlight shines down on the front of the stage, where “The Main Attraction” Tyler Boyd stands with his TFWF Tag Team Championship title belt slung over the shoulder of his Armani suit jacket. He looks around and smiles, as Natalia emerges from the smoke and stands next to him, eliciting a number of cat calls from the crowd. The couple begins to walk down the aisle towards the ring, which the crew had just finally finished removing the cage from before they came out.] Mouth: IT’S TY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beav: And he looks as good as ever - you can’t deny that! Mouth: Of COURSE he does! He’s the freaking MAIN ATTRACTION, tubby! That’s something you would know NOTHING about! [Boyd and Natalia reach the ring and Boyd allows her to climb the ring steps first, holding her hand until she reaches the apron, and then he follows her up. He opens up the bottom and middle rope with his foot and right hand allowing Natalia to duck into the ring, and then climbs in through the ropes himself. He holds up his hand and waves to the crowd, as Cassandra Randall is off in a corner of the ring.] Cassandra: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my pleasure to introduce to you at this time... one half of the TFWF Tag Team Champions.... “THE MAIN ATTRACTION” TYLER BOYD! [The crowd lets out a huge pop again.] Beav: Nevermind the fact that he’s normally NOT a fan favorite, this crowd in Arizona is sure giving him one heckuva ovation! Mouth: They understand that they’re in the presence of greatness, Beav! [The music fades out and the lights come back up to normal, as Cassandra hands him the microphone. A “T-M-A” chant breaks out, as Boyd smiles out to the crowd and laughs a little. He finally holds his hand up asking them to quiet down.] Boyd: Now I know you all didn’t come here to listen to me talk, so I’ll make this quick. Mouth: That’s the only reason I’M here! Beav: Mouth...you’re PAID to be here! Mouth: Well, yeah, there’s that...BUT STILL! I was SERIOUSLY thinking of calling in sick! Beav: Hush, Mouth... Boyd: I’ve got to say...I’ve had a vested interest in following the progress of this upstart wrestling company, being based out of San Francisco as it is. For those of you who can remember that long ago, it was a San Francisco based wrestling promotion that I broke into this business in...Championship Caliber Wrestling. And it’s always stung both myself as well as the creator of that company, Preston Everett Presley, III, that CCW’s legacy was simply stuck in youtube videos, DVDs, and the memories of some of the best wrestlers I ever had the privilege to work with. So PEP and I were talking...and we placed a call to Bryan Baxman, asking him if he had any plans of adding an additional broadcast to CWC’s line-up, and sure enough, he said that he was.... [The crowd’s listening intently, but a small cheer comes out from that revelation.] Boyd: So I asked him if he had come up with a name for that show yet, and he rambled off a few ideas that...I’ll be honest...I just didn’t see working...That’s when I made the suggestion, considering the roots of both CCW and CWC are very similar, that he adopt the name of CCW’s old flagship show. Beav: WOW! Mouth: NO WAY!!! Boyd: He thought about it for a couple of days, and called me back....and when I picked up the phone, this was all he had to say.... [Boyd lowers the microphone for a second, looking around with a smirk as the crowd’s tension is building. He then slowly raises it back up and says...] Boyd: Tyler...I’ve made a decision...and very soon, every Sunday night on Showtime...there will certainly be.... [He pauses for effect. He likes to do that sometimes. Why? Because he’s freaking Tyler Boyd, that’s why!] Boyd: HELL.....2.....PAY!!!! [The crowd pops, as Mouth completely marks out.] Mouth: YES!!!!! YES!!!! HELL 2 PAY IS BACK, BEAV!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! OUR OLD SHOW IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! Beav: This is quite the announcement! Just over a month into it’s existence, Showtime’s entrusting CWC with a second broadcast! This is amazing! [Boyd finally speaks again once the crowd has calmed down.] Boyd: Now obviously I have some friends here in CWC...such as my fellow Illuminati, Michael Norcia....[crowd boos] Kirsta Lewis.... [Not only does the crowd boo even louder, Natalia shoots a nasty glare at Boyd.] Beav: Did you see that? Mouth: See what? Beav: That look Natalia gave! What in the world is going on between Natalia and Kirsta that they seem to hate each other? Mouth: PMS... Beav: What? Mouth: They probably both have PMS... Beav: Oh lord... Boyd: So I’ll be continuing to watch...and who knows? Maybe one day you’ll see me here on Showtime regularly. But for now, I believe we still have a couple of more matches to see tonight, and I think I’ll stick around for a while and catch some of the action up close. [He hands the microphone back to Cassandra, and opens the ropes up for Natalia, who shoots him another irritated glare before climbing out. He follows her out of the ring, looking confused at her, and the two make their way to the announcer’s table next to Mouth and Beav.] Mouth: Yes! Tyler Boyd on commentary! This is GREAT!!!
--Match - Tag Team - Anarchy Associated vs. C.O.D. –
Cassandra: This next match is a tag team contest, scheduled for one fall…introducing first… Mouth: TY! It’s GREAT to have you here! Boyd: Good to see you too, Mouth. Beav, how you’ve been? Beav: I can’t complain, Tyler! [Animals by Nickleback hits the arena sound system to some big crowd heat. The arena lights go down as "Animal" by Nickleback pipes though the arena's PA system. There is a loud thundering roar as a huge Harley appears at the entrance. It stops as its engine roars even louder. Kirsta Lewis appears dressed all in black leather and a motorcycle helmet, covering her head. As the music stops, the engine roars and she rides the bike down to the ringside area. Circling the ring three times before it stops and is turned off. Kirsta slides off the bike and pushes the kick stand down. Looking around the arena and walking over to the ring steps, mounting them slowly sliding though the ring ropes and standing there.] Cassandra: from Ft Lauderdale, Florida…weighing 130 pounds…’The Hellcat’ Kirsta Lewis Beav: Here comes The Hellcat! One of the most successful and dominant wrestlers in the sport today. Last week she aligned with Demon and tonight they team together for the first time. Mouth: Wrestling is known for its great moments and the formation of C.O.D with Kirsta and Demon was one of those great moments. I can’t wait to see how they work as a team here tonight! Boyd: I’ve been in the ring against Kirsta more times than I’d have liked to be...she’s a tough competitor, and you can’t take her lightly...that’s for damn sure. Natalia: You can’t trust her either... Cassandra: And her partner… [The lights in the arena go completely out, a power outage of sorts... Reddish lights soon strobe from underneath the ring apron, as "Enemy" by Disturbed begins to play... About fifteen or twenty second into the song, as the lights remain dim, the red lights suddenly go out, and ALL the pyro and fireworks pour out, in a flash, as The Demon stands in the centre of the ring... At his feet, a pentagram rotates, illuminating The Demon and the ring area in a dark red glow... He raises his arms skyward, as the lights regain their normal illumination.] Cassandra: …from Hell, Michigan…weighing 256 pounds…The Demon. Beav: Dangerous, intense and downright evil. Just some of the ways this man can be described. Mouth: Last week he kicked the crap out his own partner but I don’t see those same kind of problems here tonight, he and Kirsta are practically family! Cassandra: And their opponents… [The lights dim, a ground hugging mist forming on the ramp as strobe lights begin to flash. Illuminated in the shadows, are the unmistakable silhouettes of a man and a woman. A girlish giggle shatters the silence, and then the soundtrack skips, replaced with a driving rock beat as the lights grow brighter. Jackson and Georgie Nickles appear at the top of the ramp, hand in hand before Georgie pulls away, pumping her fist in the air before bouncing down the ramp in time to the beat, slapping hands with the fans. Jackson walks slowly behind her, a bemused smile on his face as she pauses on the ring steps, beckoning for him to hurry up. Jackson sprints, dives between the ropes, and rolls to his feet as Georgie gets up on the turnbuckle, throwing both hands up in the air with her trademark devil horns and getting a huge pop from the fans. She jumps down, pointing at Jackson, who throws his head back and roars. Georgie puts her hand to her lips, and mimes blowing Jackson a kiss, who snatches it from the air and places it in his pocket.] Cassandra: Introducing first, wrestling at a combined weight of 401 pounds...Jackson and Georgie Nickles....ANARCHY ASSOCIATED! Beav: Well we all know that Jackson is one of the early favorites to win the CWC Championship, and he looks ready for business tonight. Mouth: He’s fired up and will be watching Georgie’s back, but that could be his downfall! All I know is this is going to be one hell of a match!! Boyd: I’m not so sure about that, Mouth. Watching each other’s back is one of the biggest keys to being a tag team... Natalia: I know someone who needs to watch her back... Beav: Is everything okay, Natalia? Natalia: .......I’m fine. [The match opens with Georgie and Kirsta starting things out. They lock up and Georgie takes control with an arm wringing, into an arm bar, but Kirsta uses the ropes to flip forward, out of the hold and into an arm wringer of her own on Georgie. Kirsta tries to keep control but Georgie nails a few forearm shots to break the hold. She whips Kirsta off the ropes, leap frog by Georgie, Kirsta hits the opposite ropes, drop down by Georgie on the return, Kirsta hits the other ropes and is flattened by a big drop kick to the face as the crowd pop. Georgie stays on offence and brings Kirsta up to her feet, whips her into the corner and then charges with a big running Mafia kick to the head! Kirsta slumps out the corner as Georgie makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Kirsta kicks out as Georgie quickly makes the tag to Jackson who comes into the ring and stomps away on Kirsta before dropping her with a back suplex. Jackson makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [The crowd boo as Kirsta is able to get her shoulder up. Demon has seen enough and he hits the ring, throwing right hands at Jackson! DoubleS tries to get him out the ring but he pushes him aside and clotheslines Jackson over the top rope and to the floor! Georgie is battling with Kirsta but Demon cuts her off with a shot to the back and then a big release German suplex that drops Georgie on the back of her head. DoubleS is going crazy as Demon who looks at him with disgust before going back to his corner. Kirsta is on her feet and she makes the tag to Demon as the crowd boo.] Beav: This has been one heck of a start folks, the tension between DoubleS and Demon is obvious and Georgie is in a lot of trouble now. Mouth: Yeah a hot start by Georgie and Jackson but it looks like the wheels just came off! [Demon comes into the ring and drops Georgie with a big running back elbow. He lifts her up and plants her with a big powerbomb as the crowd boo. He places a foot on Georgie’s chest for the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Georgie kicks out in time as the crowd roar. She tries to fight back with kicks to the mid section of Demon but he cuts her off with a forearm shot across the back and then a big European uppercut before hitting a nice suplex into a side slam! He makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Georgie kicks out again as Demon gets up and starts complaining to DoubleS about the speed of his count. DoubleS is having none of it and ignores Demon who stops Georgie from making the tag to Jackson and then spits at Jackson! This brings him into the ring and DoubleS has to stop him which allows Kirsta and Demon to double team Georgie with a sick looking double neckbreaker and then Kirsta comes off Demon’s shoulders with a back senton onto the prone Georgie. She makes the cover as DoubleS turns around.] ONE… TWO… [The crowd pop big as Georgie just gets her foot on the rope stopping the count! Kirsta brings Georgie to her feet and hits a slam before tagging in Demon again. The crowd boo as Demon laughs at Jackson before pushing past DoubleS who is checking on Georgie. DoubleS look like he might smack Demon in the head but doesn’t instead he starts his count as Demon climbs the turnbuckles to some big crowd heat. Georgie looks out cold as Demon comes off the middle turnbuckle with a big elbow drop but Georgie moves just at the last moment to a big crowd pop!! Georgie staggers to her feet as Demon is up and charges, but she moves and he crashes just first into the turnbuckles! Georgie dives across the ring and makes the hot tag to Jackson to a big crowd pop!!] Beav: Jackson has been desperate for that tag and he hits the ring like a house on fire!! Mouth: Here we go the big man is in and he’s cleaning house, this place is going crazy! Boyd: Once Jackson gets on a roll, he’s damn hard to stop. There’s a reason he’s known as one of the best in this business. [Jackson drills Demon with a huge spear that knocks him clear out the ring! Kirsta comes off the top turnbuckle and lands on Jackson’s shoulders. He tries for a hurricanranna but Jackson blocks the attempt and drills her with power bomb into the turnbuckles! Jackson drags Kirsta out the corner and plants her with a belly to belly suplex before making the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Demon comes back in and stops the pin! Georgie flies off the top turnbuckle with a missile drop kick to Demon and they both roll to the outside. Kirsta is up and Jackson charges, but she hits him with a back elbow and then uses the ropes to hit a tornado DDT! She motions that the match is over and makes the cover.] ONE… TWO… [Jackson kicks out just in time to a big crowd pop! Demon slams Georgie into the guard rail on the outside and then nails her with The Demon Juice on the outside, grabs a chair, and slides into the ring behind Double$s, who turns around and sees him, and threatens to disqualify him, pulling the chair out of his hands. Demon gets right in his face, and Double$s decides he doesn’t want to hear it, winds up, and clobbers The Demon with it, causing him to stumble backwards and fall out of the ring. Tossing the chair aside, Double$s turns back around and walks right into a Hells Bitch Kick from Kirsta Lewis!] Beav: SHE CAN’T DO THAT!!! Boyd: Beav...um...she just...did. [Kirsta turns back around and barely ducks a clothesline from Jackson. She quickly picks up the chair that Double$s tossed aside and comes up swinging it like a baseball bat, smacking Jackson across the face with it, laying him out. She drops down for the cover, but there’s no ref, as Double$s is out on his back.] Mouth: No! The damn ref’s out! Beav: It’s C.O.D.’s fault that Double$s is out! This is what they deserve! Boyd: I can fix this... Beav: Huh? Tyler, where are you going? [Boyd throws his headset down and quickly slides into the ring, where he pulls Double$s over to where Kirsta has Jackson covered, rolls him over, and picks up his hand and makes the three count for him.] ONE…
TWO…
THREE… [The crowd heat is huge as Demon and Kirsta pick up the massive win over Georgie Nickles and Jackson!] Beav: Oh now come on, blatant cheating from Kirsta and Demon and a big assist from Boyd! Is this what the C.O.D is going to be all about? Mouth: Certainly looks that way! [The crowd lets out a huge chorus of boos, as “Animals” by Nickelback reprises and Boyd pulls Kirsta to her feet. Demon manages to climb back into the ring, and Boyd raises both of their hands in victory, when Kirsta spins around and jumps up into Boyd’s arms wrapping her legs around him and giving him a big kiss on the cheek.] Natalia: THAT BITCH! [Natalia now rips off her headset, throws it down and slides into the ring and quickly pulls Kirsta off of Boyd. Kirsta glares at her, as Boyd steps between them and gives a dirty look to Natalia and asks “What’s WRONG with you?!?” Natalia shakes her head and almost bursts into tears, as she looks at Boyd for a second before simply climbing out of the ring and walking back up the ramp without him.] Beav: I think we may have trouble in paradise, Mouth! Cassandra: Your winners, via pinfall…Kirsta Lewis and The Demon!! [WINNERS VIA PINFALL: C.O.D.]
–The Offer– [Matt Sloan is seen, backstage, warming up for his match, DLT giving him a peptalk. Matt sees Brandon Watkins nearby, and walks over, saying hi.] Sloan: "Hey, listen, man. We got the team thing going on and everything, what with being the first team to have been together for two matches so...y'know...I was thinking. We should discuss something about strategy. I mean, we got the COD runnin' around here now..." DLT: "Cash on delivery?" [Sloan turns around, and sees Nakajima standing right beside him and falls flat on his back, startled. Nakajima shakes his head and walks away, leaving DLT, Watkins, and Sloan, at which point DLT turns to Watkins.] DLT: "I don't know either, man."
–Main Event – Two out of Three Falls – Final Tournament Qualifying Match - Noah Drakin vs. Blake Stone-- Cassandra: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the Main Event of the evening, and... [A staff member jumps into the ring and whispers something into Cassandra’s ear.] Beav: What’s going on? Mouth: I really hate how many rhetorical questions you ask.... Cassandra: ...and I have just been informed that due to injuries sustained tonight, Eric “The Iceman” Sailes has withdrawn from the Championship Tournament, and both Noah Drakin and Blake Stone have been granted entry! Beav: That’s a shame.... Mouth: Definitely. But I think Boyd should have taken his place. Beav: Boyd once again showed his true colors tonight with his cheap assist helping COD get a win over Anarchy Associated! Mouth: And? Beav: And...IT WAS WRONG, MOUTH! Mouth: Depends on your perspective. Beav: *sigh* Cassandra: The following contest is scheduled for two falls! “KILLING IN THE NAME OF….” [A thunderous voice rings out into the arena as “Killing in the Name of “ by Rage Against the Machine begins to blares through the loud speakers. The fans start cheering as pyros shoot off from the side of the Tron, sounding like a machine gun blazing. The sparks fly through the air as Noah Drakin walks out onto the stage, wearing a pair of torn camo cargo pants and white wife beater tank top. Over the white tank top he is wearing a leather vest that is left open so blows back a little as he strolls to the ring. His face is stern and focused as he strolls down the ramp, slapping a few hands as he goes. He reaches the ring steps and casually walks up them to the apron He walks to the center of the apron and leans against the ropes with his arms crossed in front of him. Then in a flash he shoots his arms up in the air as the corner posts burst with pyros. He turns around and steps through the ropes. He begins stretching as he looks up the ramp, waiting for his opponent.] Beav: Well there’s Noah Drakin, and I’ve got to say, he’s quite the brave soul for even showing up tonight considering the predicament he’s found himself in. I’m surprised Baxman’s letting him compete! Mouth: Ratings, fatty...ratings... [“Coming Undone” by Korn begins to play. Tyus steps out from the back and looks around the arena to the mixed reaction from the fans. He lifts his arms overhead and the drops to this side and seemingly bows his head to say a quick prayer before he starts down the aisle. He briefly slaps hands with a couple of fans before focusing himself on the ring.] Beav: This should be on great match showcasing two of the younger talents in CWC, and with both of them in the tournament, I expect to see them each make some waves! Mouth: As long as Drakin can avoid staying outta the clink... Beav: That’s a good point! Cassandra: Introducing first, weighing in at 243 pounds and wrestling out of Denver, Colorado....NOAH DRAKIN!!!! [The crowd gives him a mixed response, as his eyes dart around the arena looking a bit paranoid.] Cassandra: And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds, and wrestling out of Anniston, Alabama....BLAKE STONE!!! [Again, a mixed response for the young competitor.] Beav: Well it seems to me that the fans can’t quite seem to decide whether they want to cheer for or against these young men! Neither one has much of a history, but I guarantee they’ll each earn quite a few fans as they go! Mouth: Who cares? It’s all about GETTING PAID! Beav: Not for SOME people, Mouth! [The ref calls for the bell, and the match is under way as the two men circle each other in the ring, locking their eyes on one another. They finally lock up collar and elbow, and it’s the slightly smaller Blake Stone who manages to slip around Drakin, wrenching his arm, and puts him in a hammer lock. Drakin tries to throw an elbow, but Stone dodges it. Still searching for a way out, he Drakin finally reaches down between his legs and grabs one of Stone’s ankles, and yanks his leg out from under him, causing Stone to release the hold and fall to the mat. Stone jumps back to his feet and Drakin’s ready for them, as they find themselves in a staredown.] Beav: A good clean little exchange there to start the match! Mouth: [yawns] BO-RING! [The two each take a step back before locking up again. This time, Drakin gets Stone into an armdrag takedown, and holds an armbar from his knee, putting quite a bit of pressure on Blake’s shoulder. Stone manages to get to his feet and roll through it, getting out of the hold, and then brings Drakin down with a single leg takedown. Once again, both men pop up in defensive stances, and end up in yet another face off.] Beav: This is something you don’t see much of anymore...OL’ FASHIONED TECHNICAL WRESTLING! Mouth: There’s a REASON you don’t see much of it anymore....NOBODY CARES! Beav: I DO! Mouth: .......let me rephrase....NOBODY THAT MATTERS CARES! [The two go to lock up again, but this time Drakin has a different plan as he fires a hard right hand that rocks Stone. He follows up with another one, grabs Stone by the back of the head, and pulls his face down into a raised knee, causing him to spin and stumble off into the ropes. Drakin quickly spins Stone around to face him and fires a stiff chop across the chest before whipping him across the ring. Stone hits the far ropes and is on his way back, and Drakin catches him in a drop toe hold, causing Blake to slam face first to the canvas. Drakin immediately applies a sitting headscissor and wrenches on the arm at the same time. Blake’s trying to get out of the hold, but Noah’s leverage advantage makes it seem nearly impossible. Using his free hand, he reaches out for the bottom rope, but is about six inches away.] Beav: Getting to those ropes is going to be Stone’s only escape! Mouth: I don’t think that’s gonna happen! [Sure enough, Blake Stone uses his free hand to claw his way closer to the ropes, but is very slow with any progress as Drakin leans back, applying more pressure and trying to make it harder for Stone to pull them towards the ropes. But nonetheless, Stone finally gets there and is BARELY able to grab the bottom rope, causing the ref to start a five count.] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!!
FOUR!!! [Drakin releases the hold.] Beav: And Stone’s out of it, but the damage could already be done, Mouth! Drakin’s been working on the shoulder since this match started! Mouth: He’s SMART! Without the shoulders, the arms are useless! If the arms are useless, you’re a sitting duck in there! [Drakin gets back to his feet, and Stone uses the opportunity to roll under the bottom rope and out to the floor, where he’s rubbing his shoulder and holding it in pain. Drakin walks over to the ropes and looks down at Stone, who has his back turned to the ring. Just as he turns around, Drakin pulls back on the top rope and launches himself into the air and out of the ring, where he crashes down on Stone with a cross body!] Beav: WOW! The only man that size I’ve seen lately that could do something like that is the man who was our guest out here earlier, Tyler Boyd! What athleticism shown by Noah Drakin! [Drakin gets to his feet and pulls Stone up, grabs the arm on his injured side, and pulls his shoulder right into his own, causing Blake to drop down to a knee in pain. Drakin still has the arm held though as he pulls Stone back to his feet and rams the shoulder again, with Stone once again dropping down to a knee, yelling out in pain. Drakin pulls him back up one more time and wrenches the arm this time, and then pulls Stone in and levels him with a short armed clothesline.] Mouth: This guy’s IMPRESSIVE! Beav: He certainly is, Mouth! I’m not sure where Baxman found him, but he’s quite the talent! [Pulling Stone up again, he grabs the injured arm of Blake Stone and whips him hard into the steel ringpost, causing him to bounce off of it, turnaround, and collapse into the steel barrier. Drakin looks up at the ref who’s at a seven count, and quickly rolls in under the bottom rope to break the count, and then immediately rolls back out to the floor to go back to work. He pulls Stone to his feet, but Stone, in a move of desperation, throws a hail mary haymaker that finds its mark on the side of Drakin’s head, stunning him for a second. Stone quickly uses the opportunity to go on the attack, favoring his shoulder but not backing down because of it. He grabs Drakin by the back of the head and slams him face first onto the top of the announcer’s table right in front of Mouth and Beav, who each jump up out of their chair and step out to either side.] Beav: Talk about up close and personal! [Still favoring his left shoulder, Blake uses his right hand to grab Drakin and whip him hard into the ring steps back first, causing the top section to knock off the base and fall to the floor. Drakin grimaces in pain as Stone picks him up and rolls him back into the ring, and follows him in, just in time beat the ten count. Stone reaches down and picks up Drakin, rolling his shoulder trying to loosen it up, and before Drakin gets all the way to a vertical base, he charges his shoulder into the midsection of Stone and jams him back into the corner, slamming him hard into the turnbuckles. Drakin backs out again and jams his shoulder into the ribs of Blake Stone again, and then whips him out of the corner and sends him for the ride to the opposite turnbuckles, where he slams in and bounces out. Drakin charges in at him again with a clothesline this time, but Stone ducks and Drakin slams sternum first into the top turnbuckle. Stone capitalizes and rolls him up from behind!] ONE!!!
TWO!!! Kickout! Beav: Blake Stone being the opportunist, here, but couldn’t get the three count to win the first fall! [Both men jump back to their feet, Stone getting there first. Blake throws a punch and lands it, but Drakin retaliates with one of his own. Stone lands another, and then Drakin lands another. Stone throws one more, but Drakin blocks it and delivers a boot to the stomach of Blake Stone, hooks him up, and hits the Impaler DDT he calls...] Beav: DEAD ON!!! HE ROLLS STONE OVER FOR THE COVER!!! ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THRE... Shoulder up! Mouth: WHAT?!?!? Beav: STONE GOT THE SHOULDER UP! [Drakin looks up at the referee in disbelief. He shakes his head, and pulls Stone up, but Stone grabs him and pulls him down face first into the top turnbuckle, causing him to stumble out to the center of the ring disoriented. Stone staggers over to him and hooks him up, rolling him into a small package!] ONE!!!
TWO!!
THR... Beav: DRAKIN REVERSED IT AND ROLLED IT OVER!!! ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!! Mouth: Drakin wins the first fall! [Both men lay on the mat for a second, and Drakin’s the first to get up. The referee immediately orders him to a corner, enforcing the thirty second break between falls.] Beav: This is one heckuva match so far! Mouth: And the better man won the first fall! Beav: It’s not over yet, Mouth! Blake Stone’s showed some great resiliency, and I don’t think Drakin can consider this thing to be in the bag just yet! [Stone gets to his feet, obviously upset with himself for getting caught in that. The referee orders the match to start again, and Drakin wastes little time in going right back on the attack with a boot to the stomach. He hooks Stone up into a front face lock and looks for a vertical suplex, but Stone hooks his leg around Drakin’s to block it. Drakin tries the suplex again, but again Blake blocks it, and this time it’s Blake Stone who lifts Drakin up and slams him down, reversing the suplex. Stone gets to his feet slowly, as Drakin begins to sit up. Stone is quickly off the ropes behind Drakin and comes flying over the top of him, grabbing Drakin’s head and pulling it forward, causing Drakin to snap back down towards the mat when he let go. Stone, gaining some momentum, pops right back up to his feet and pulls Drakin up.] Beav: I told you Stone wasn’t done yet, Mouth! Mouth: Whatever...go shove another donut down your throat, fat boy... Beav: There are donuts? Where? Mouth: ............. Beav: I hope there are some raspberry jelly ones left... [Stone hits Drakin with a boot to the stomach, and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a running knee to the head, knocking Drakin back down to the mat. Quickly getting to the outside of the ring now, Stone climbs to the top rope and perches himself, waiting for Drakin to get back to his feet. Drakin finally sits up, holding his head, and seeming a little dazed. He slowly makes his way to his feet and looks around, not seeing Blake Stone up on the corner. Stone stands up straight, and just as Drakin turns to look in his direction, Stone launches off the top rope with a missile dropkick, leveling Drakin! He scrambles over to Drakin and hooks the leg.] ONE!!!
TWO!! Kickout! Mouth: That’s it, Noah! Beav: He may have kicked out, but Blake Stone’s got ALL of the momentum on his side now... Crowd: “LET’S GO BLAKE!!! LET’S GO BLAKE!!! LET’S GO BLAKE!!!” Beav: And it sounds like he’s got the crowd behind him, to boot! [Stone gets back up to his feet and pulls Drakin back up, and quickly executes a neckbreaker. Not satisfied, he pulls Drakin back up to his feet again, shoves him chest first into the ropes, and hits a standing dropkick in the back of the head, sending Drakin through the ropes and crashing down to the floor. Stone looks down and sees him, and once again makes his way to the tope rope, staying in a crouched position as he waits for Drakin to get up, who slowly reaches up to the guard rail and pulls himself up. Just as he turns around, once again, Blake launches from the top rope and comes down towards him, but Drakin saw it this time and moved out of the way, causing Blake to string himself out over the top of the security railing!] Beav: HE MISSED!!! THIS COULD BE THE OPENING THAT DRAKIN NEEDS TO GET BACK INTO THIS!!! Mouth: YES! [Drakin pulls Stone up and rocks him with a hard right hand before rolling him back into the ring, and then pulls himself up onto the apron and climbs in after him. Stone’s writhing in pain on the mat, as Drakin stalks him, and finally drops down to a knee, grabs him by the back of the head, and fires off 7 or 8 quick punches to the head before pushing down on his shoulders with a lateral press.] Beav: This could be the end of the match! ONE!!
TWO!!
THRE... Shoulder up! Mouth: NO! Beav: AGAIN, BLAKE STONE BARELY GETS THE SHOULDER UP! [Drakin pulls Stone up again and shoves him into the corner, and spins with an elbow, catching him in the side of the head. Blake staggers out of the corner, and Drakin climbs up to the second rope in the corner. Stone turns back around and Drakin jumps towards him, but Stone leaps himself, and meets Drakin mid-air with a dropkick that connects to the chest, causing him to crumple down to the mat. Stone slowly gets up and pulls Drakin back to his feet, and sets him up for a Tiger Driver. He hits it, but slams him down onto his head!] Beav: VOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER!!!! BLAKE STONE HAS THE COVER!!! ONE!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!! Mouth: DAMN IT! Beav: BLAKE STONE WINS THE SECOND FALL!!! [Stone gets up to his feet, and the referee orders him to a corner for the 30 second break. Drakin’s barely moving, breathing heavily, as the referee checks on him.] Mouth: Drakin’s not looking too hot... Beav: And now it looks like Blake Stone wants to go back to work, but the referee steps between him and Drakin, who’s finally sitting up.... [The referee finally allows the match to restart, and Blake Stone charges in with a stomp to the chest. He goes to pull Drakin back up to his feet, but Noah manages to avoid him, pulls him down and rolls him up, getting his own feet up on the second rope for leverage. The referee’s out of position and doesn’t see it!] Beav: NO! NOT LIKE THIS!! Mouth: HA! ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!! Beav: LORD ALMIGHTY! THE REF DIDN’T SEE IT! NOAH DRAKIN JUST STOLE THIS MATCH!! Mouth: GOOD! HE’S LEARNING! [The ref calls for the bell, and Drakin has his hand raised in victory as “Killing in the Name Of... reprises.] Beav: Thank the lord this turned out to NOT be a qualifying match! That would have been a durn shame if Blake Stone wouldn’t have gotten in because of that! Mouth: Sometimes you have to take whatever advantage you can get, Beav! Noah Drakin just picked up a big win, and big momentum heading into the tournament! Beav: Well, he certainly did do that...and next week both of these young men will be in action as we finish out the first round of the CWC Championship Tournament! Don’t miss it, folks! [The scene fades out as Noah Drakin’s backing his way up the aisle, staring down Blake Stone, who’s sitting up glaring right back at him with an angry look. Fade to black.]
